Has anybody a FIT with good energy , I’ve just received a letter on the 18th June telling me I have to send photographic evidence of my generation meter to continue getting payments and this had to be received by 17th June. I’ve sent photo ID and made a complaint but haven’t heard anything from them.0

Last year eon asked me for a pic which I duly sent. They followed up with a request for me to prove my identity which I refused: who else would send a pic of my meter in response to an email to me? The email even said "all you need to do is send us a pic".Anyway, some months later I had another request and this time a Web page handled taking and sending the pic. Much better. I have to say eon have been pretty prompt and professional since we were bounced from edf to them for fit. I'm with edf for gas now and they suck, but that's another story.4.7kwp PV split equally N and S 20° 2016.Givenergy AIO (2024)Seat Mii electric (2021). Thanks for rthe hnt about submitting late - unfortunately I am one of the generators who not only had to get the panels installed before the end of March deadline but also had to get the installation registered by then. So I would have to extend my cycle by about 10 weeks.I am willing to bet that BG has sometthing built in that will immediately recognise the last day of their obligation to pay for my generation.I chose BG because the BG system allowed the generator to sign up by email. The snail mail system the other electricity companies used at the time gave you the right to back date your acceptance to the date of installastion if it was less than 14 days ago. The BG email system did allow me to go back to the initial 0000 figure on the meter.I also remember haveing an argument with the then minister [you remember the one, where his wife criminalised both of them over a road traffic offence] about extra charges on electricity bills being a TAX.Now we are right back where we started from with "taxation by inflation" The "pound in your pocket" is now worh 89.9 pence, until we factor in the latest road fuel prices for June "Crisis; what crisis?" and "the winter of discontent"]0

SSE's retail energy & FITs business was taken over by OVO 2 years ago. Before the takeover they were erratic about sending out FIT payments, and had to be frequently chased, but it has now hit an all time low. I am owed around £850 by them from my May reading, which is now desperately needed. They have ignored my emails chasing this payment. Worse, they apparently now only staff their phone Monday to Friday in the mornings when I am at work and unable to spend long periods on hold. So far I've been unable to talk to a human or get any sort of response out of SSE/OVO as my call never gets answered before I have to ring off and get on with my job (38 minutes on hold this morning with no answer). If you try and get any support through the OVO forum you are just fobbed off and told to call the phone number they don't answer.0

STILL having issues with SSE or whatever they call themselves. No payments yet for my readings sent in April and July.
The phone number 0345 0717827 is useless, been in the queue for half an hour this attempt, several tries before the line has just been dropped before I get to speak to anyone.
I did find a complaints form on their website so I filled that in. Guess what no answer.
Does anyone have a POSTAL address that I can send c complaint about the poor service?
Next step ombudsman I guess? Anyone tried this?0 -

Unlikely to get a personal reply but it will be referred to a high level complaints team.
