  • Still no FIT payment from OVO. Have tried raising a complaint but they are ignoring that too. Sigh.

Ditto - for the period Mar, Apr, May. I had an email 16th Aug saying I'd receive payment within 4 weeks. It does seem that they've engineered in as much delay as they can to processing and making payment.
Central Beds, 2.02kWp (9 x 225W) south facing with some morning shade, installed 2011 (£7.16/Wp). Tigo monitoring/optimisers on all panels, Growatt MIC 2000 TL-X Inverter and Solar iBoost installed 2022. I had an email then too. I spoke with them on the phone yesterday and they are now saying “we have paid you on the 1st September, but it will take 3 working days to appear in your account” - Unbelievable!

So they have until the end of today…
  • I'm glad it's not me dealing with OVO's delays.  FIT reading given at the beginning of June, the response back at the time:

"At the end of this read month, we’ll pass all readings to Ofgem. It then takes around 8 weeks to process FiT payments. So you should get your payment and statement no later than the first week of September. "

    They're cutting it fine!

In the meantime, I've already submitted the next reading.
4 Kwp System, South Facing, 35 Degree Pitch, 16 x 250W Solarworld Panels, SMA Sunnyboy 3600 Inverter, Installed 02/09/14 in Sunny South Bedford - £5600
Growatt AC Coupled SPA3000tl and 6.5kWh battery Installed Apr 2022
  • I suppose the upside is we're getting paid for summer generation at the point we have to pay for winter usage.

Just had an email from OVO saying they paid me on the 30th August, but allow 3-5 working days from this date for the payment to reach me.

3 days would have been yesterday, it’s not here today, so I should see the payment tomorrow being it is day 5. Fingers crossed but I have little trust…

    Hooray!

Break out the bunting, we are having a street party!
I have finally been paid by OVO, late and with no apology, but I finally have the money.
  • My payment has arrived too.

Well that's more like it, after my poor experience last time, reading submitted to Octopus on Saturday evening via link in email and in my bank today, despite email saying it would take 3-4 weeks.
