    Scottish Power 2 weeks.
I've been with Scottish Power for 10 years & the range is 11 - 20 days with the median around 2 weeks.
Similar experience for me.  It was significantly quicker in 2011 when I was buying power from SP but moved elsewhere soon afterwards but even so 'delay' has never exceeded 3 weeks

  • Sent MCS Certificate on 9th September to Octopus (apparently the first one, sent in August, was incorrect so I had to contact my installer to get the correct one).  Chased several times.  By the time I get it sorted there won't be any sunshine ...

British Gas seem to have moved to a new system for FIT payments, maybe linked to the billing migrations but seems to have speeded it up.
Reading submitted Monday, payment in bank on Thursday so only 4 days.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

How are people doing with EDF? They seem to be slipping since moving to their new system.
01/9/24 Confirmed that they'd got my readings
04/9/24 Received FIT statement saying payment in 5 working days
11/9/24 Received BACS statement saying payment in 5 working days (?)
    Nothing as yet.

Yes they have definitely had issues.
Apparently last quarter everyone was moved onto the same quarterly calendar when it came to FIT payments instead of the anniversary of their original installation.
We received then the normal emails but the payment never ended up being paid into the bank.
After chasing it was eventually paid by cheque.
I was told everything would be back to normal this quarter.
Sadly not, called them and was told that even though the emails say the money would be paid within 5 working days, this is likely to be 10 !
Not good but in fairness they have been so good historically I’m prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt.
    We will see what happens…..

Money turned up on the 13th, so 12 days after the  reading reported. I'm not complaining as they seem to do quite well.

I know this isn't a delay, quite the opposite, but my generation was reported to Octopus yesterday evening and the money is already in my bank account!
