There's nothing to stop you moving your elec supply to EDF, or Eon and then asking them to take on your FIT. Similarly, there is nothing to stop you moving your supply away again in the future and leaving your FIT with them - as far as I understand it.

We moved our supply from EDF nigh on two years ago now, this was the first time I had plucked up courage to change suppliers for our electricity due to never having done it before and the fear of everything going pear shaped.
Not only have we saved a decent amount on our electricity supply bill, but my concerns over what could potentially happen to our FIT payments from EDF who we left them with, proved to be unfounded as they continued to be as swift as ever and not as I had feared treated differently as we no longer used them for supply.SMA 4000TL Inverter, 17 REC 235PE Panels, South facing, roof angle \ `ish, 3995 watt system.Installed Nov 2011.0 -

Would appreciate your input on the Co-Op and other FiT providers throwing us off threads. How soon can E.ON take us on and is it painless?Hello Rheumatoid and many thanks for your interest in our FIT scheme.Just to let you know, we only accept applications from existing E.ON electricity customers unless your current supplier isn't a mandatory FIT Licensee or where the customer isn't connected to the national grid.Applications can be made through our website where there's a form to fill in and a lot more information about what's involved. We've a specialist FIT team who look after these accounts and applications. You can contact them directly using either the online form or phone number underneath. The time taken depends on the workload this team are dealing with at any given time. They'll be able to let you know once you've been in touch.Hope this points you in the right direction Rheumatoid and thanks again for your interest.Malc

EDF,
Record quarterly generation for us this year for the March to June 1st quarter.
1628 kWh meaning a lovely £926 !
FIT meter reading submitted Monday 1st and remittance email received today notifying me of the BACS payment.
EDF had warned in their email requesting the meter reading that there may be a delay in their processing the payments this quarter due to the current circumstances. Credit to them and their staff for still managing to turn around the payments so quickly.
Keep Safe everyone.

EDF.
Super efficient EDF back to their speedy FIT payment turnaround, meter reading submitted Tuesday 1st September and remittance email received today 3rd September.
Just a shame for us down here in West Devon that our record breaking previous quarter was followed by a distinctly average quarter just gone. Never mind.
Keep Safe Everyone.
