    Morning all.

I have been away for the weekend so all my usual shopping, cleaning and washing didn't get done. My dd has started full time at school yesterday too and I've changed hours at work too so lots of new routines to get used to. All in all I feel totally at 6s and 7s with everything.

Last night I did the food shop after the school run which meant tea and bedtime were late, which meant I didn't get to go for a run so I feel all sluggish. Almost made it to breakfast club on time this morning and at least I have a packed lunch which is an improvement on yesterday....:T

    H all.

Candygirl - hope the Bepanthen works!

Not much to report here so far; the sun is shining and it looks like the rest of the day will be lovely, so I've hunted around to make up a load for the WM to make the most of the drying weather.

I've done a bit of online work, and most of the chores apart from putting the vacuum around.

Dinner tonight is sausage casserole, something really easy because that's all I feel like doing!

I shall add lots and lots of hugs in this post to all those in need, through illness, fed-upness, or worry about family members. Try and enjoy your day.

very tired today. had a very bad night and slept very little. ds was sick in his bed too. he doesnt seem particualrly poorly so think its his reflux as he keeps coughing and clearing his throat. its only watery sick too.

still loads to do and no idea where to start but i guess ds' bedding would be a good start. thats two lots he has in the wash now. then the rest of the washing. hoping the sun comes out as his actual duvet needs washing too

    hope everyone else is ok

    Ha Ha Ha :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I did that many years ago when Kids Dad and I were getting together. Just meant to do my bikini line and then he rang me so was chatting away. I went back to defuzz and the whole lot came away. I was mortified as this was way before the concept of Brazilian :eek::eek: Anyway Kids Dad was very enamoured ;););)

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Sorry Candy, shouldn't laugh!! Hope it doesn't hurt too much!

Bitsy - thanks for your comments yday, not at all patronising! I'm just having a wobble. It's 6months til I'm 30, and pretty much everyone I went to school with is married/engaged/has kids etc. Feeling a bit left behind! :o I'll get over it.

I have done some re-jigging of finances, and taken out a loan today. My parents kindly lent me the money for my car interest free, but with the amount I wanted to pay them back per month (£125 - they would have accepted less but I hate owing them money), and my CC repayments things were going to be a little tight. With the loan I'll be saving about £90/month and I got a good rate so am happy with it all :). So I'll be spending tonight making payments and closing cards off etc.

Still need to sort out my laptop, the support line was closed yday. So have that to do when I go home also.

OS wise - need to do WM and DW.

    Have a good day all

  • Morning all!

Feels like a very slow start to the day, was tired when I woke up this morning - think Spud starting to sleep for longer is making my body realise what it's been missing lol! Almost bit dd3's head off when she wanted to know where a rucksack was, she was the last one to have it though, but I shall apologise when she gets home!

On a mission to empty the freezers a bit, ready for freezing toms, apples and half a pig when it arrives. Found at least a dozen chickens, so kids have roast chicken tonight, was going to do it in the SC, but it's light flickers and then goes off, OH had a quick look and reckons it's the connection in the SC itself, so think it's basically dead! Chicken is now in the remoska instead! Don't want to use the oven really unless it's full, and I baked yesterday so haven't really got anything else to fill it with unless I make the week's meals all in one go, and I really can't be bothered to do that today! dd2 and I will have quorn fillets with mozzarella and pesto with the veggies and roast potatoes - sent OH to farm shop, potatoes were £4.50 for a 25kg sack, not seen them that cheap for a good while. He's starting to get into bargain hunting now, and finally understands why I bulk buy when things are on special, after taking me shopping now for a few weeks and being horrified at how much I spend - though I think £120 for 6 plus a baby isn't a lot, it is to him as he's used to just shopping for one, or none really as he eats at work and I used to fill his fridge and cupboards! Think he has a plan for me to start proper stock rotation though, I do sometimes feel like one of his minions at work, sigh!

Anyway, OS stuff: clipped ds's hair for him, considering the clippers cost less than a visit to the barbers they've been an excellent investment, bunged in first load of washing, nice and blowy here so should be able to get it all on the line, though there's a bit of damp in the air, so I hope it dries, still at least it will get an airing! Dinner is cooking, bathrooms, kitchen and utility are all S&S, DW loaded and Spud snuggled and now napping.

Jobs still left to do are peel and chop the bags of apples from my friend so they can be frozen, finally found them this morning, dd2 had put them in the understairs cupboard and forgotten! Make a space for Spud's cot, which is due for delivery today :-) Sand and wax sitting room table, repair coffee table, iron the clean washing when it's dry, make a meal plan and a shopping list, also need to have a whizz with the hoover. Doubt it'll all get done, but I shall have a bash!

Don't know if it's been on the grabbit board, but the Great British Bakeoff book is £5 delivered to store at WHSmith online, have ordered a copy as dd1 and I really enjoy watching it, and we're both keen to have a go at some of the recipes.

Best get a wiggle on, hugs where needed, have a good day all xxx

Afternoon all! Home for my lunch, had some toast and l/o sausages....i had made a salad, but didn't fancy it at all. So will need to work out later to counteract the extra calories. Pup had some too, so that helped!!

Got another 40 mins before i need to head back to work. Will put a load in the machine, and sort some bills out before i leave i think. Pup is eating biscuits and quite happy without me!

  • Good afternoon.

Running really late today, so not had chance to catch up on the board until now
All the housework is done, DH has now gone for a walk down the local canal he did ask me to go with him but I really could not be bothered, think I'm just going to potter around the garden and get some of the pots sorted out....Think Im lost my get up and go today!

The Weather has really warmed up down here, got a line full of washing and another load waiting to go out... then its just DH's coats to wash then I'm all upto date with everything... x

Also need to make some biscuits at some point today, might wait till DS comes home from school though so he can help.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day... x
