And if most of the public comment you've found has been negative, then shouldn't that be telling you something?

Simply as a large fraction - I don't know if it's over half, but suspect it is - of assessments by ATOS are fair and reasonable.
They may be handicapped by the legislation and DWP decision makers to cause an outcome unfavourable to the client, but this doesn't mean that it's reasonable to paint it as certain that you will go in and be judged unfairly.

For obvious reasons, most people with good experiences do not typically rush out to share them, but to get on with their lives.

On the other hand, people who have been very badly treated are likely to post on every thread - which can significantly distort the reality.

Are there unfavourable experiences - of course.
Are they as common as the proportion of people posting negative experiences in a 'your ATOS interview' thread - of course not.

Without wishing to seem rude, but why specifically ask for good stories in particular? Shouldn't it be honest, accurate accounts (whether they're good or bad) that you want?

Think you've answered your own question there really?!

To wheedle out some of the good stories as has been already said people tend to only come on to complain - about ATOS, supermarket treatment, ebay whatever.

Plenty of "bad" stories - wanted some of the positive experiences of ATOS to balance that out.

Is that ok with you or shall I run future threads past you before I post them?

Oh well, in that case, do you have your own positive experience to share about Atoss?;)
Sorry, I don't have any experience of Atoss. Who is Atoss to which you keep referring? Perhaps another company who you're confusing with ATOS?

    Have I? Where?

That point tends to be true - people do have a tendency to complain rather than compliment.

Again though, if you're unable to find good stories and have to ask for them, then it's not a good sign.

My point was that if you have an assessment coming up, it's best to be prepared than unprepared.

And if you do, and you're looking for advice, it's worth audio-recording it (mobile in a shirt pocket would do the job) without telling them you're doing it or are even thinking about doing it.

And contrary to what others will tell you, it's not illegal to do this, and if a dishonest report gets drawn up, then the audio-capture can be used as further evidence if you feel it should go to tribunal.

Besides, it's not the assessment itself that's the main problem - it's the report that comes out of it afterwards.

No, I'm simply asking a question. How you interpret it is up to you.

Wasn't the OP wanting positive experiences of the company concerned? Do you have one to share? I've already given mine.

Atoss. Who else? That name fits them so much better.

    Nope.

    Nope.
OP wanted good stories about ATOS. The company you keep referring to is a different one, unless of course you're defaming ATOS?

I think FTW is slightly remedial. Only explanation I can see for thinking that calling ATOS 'Atoss' is in any way clever, funny or worthwhile.

I must take issue with that post. The word 'slightly' is not necessary.

Judging by yourself and some of the other posters on this board, then I must be in good company.

That would be one more display of wit than you seem to have displayed.
