thats just as bad to be honest.

morally corrupt... disgrace to proper doctors and nurses!
    How is that morally corrupt?

The HCP is allowed to add notes to the report.

Ok let me clarify i do suffer from the things but never added them to the ESA50 form, But the doctor must have thought it was important enough for them to add notes, So why should i report the doctor for doing their job by helping me by adding notes.

It's really important to put aside your pride, and not answer the questions as if you care about the answers.
Consider if a person who knew all about you and your daily life in a professional capacity could make a reasonable case for each tickbox.
Do not skip over questions because they are not 'your main problem'.

Insight can be a major problem with psychiatric conditions. People can genuinely think they are fine and don't have a problem where their psychiatrist will know very well that they do have a problem.

Can you clarify what you mean, as so far, people seem to have been posting what they think is a 'positive' story (take the example above which states it is a good story).

But as per the example above, it obviously was a negative story, even though they thought it was a positive.

Do you mean people should refrain from pointing out serious errors that make a 'good story' mean its not actually a good story, and for example, in the above case (and others) refrain from giving solid advice on reporting a doctor for a alledged breach of medical ethics, and informing the DWP of the problem with the report, so that there is no chance of them being accused of benefit fraud at a later date.
(after all, if the dwp have it on record that they are suffering from a condition or symptom they dont have, and they didnt inform the dwp that the doctor made that up, the dwp will be basing a decision on evidence the claimaint knows is false, which would mean benefit fraud).

As if MSE wants people to keep quiet about benefit fraud, and not offer assistance in that regard to ensure a crime is not committed, then would that not be rather a unusual stance to take?

Or do you mean, simply refrain from posting and known negative stories in the thread?
TBH, I thought Andrea's comments seemed clear enough.:
As the original poster's asked for positive stories on here, if you could post and discuss negative stories on another thread, making sure you keep it friendly, that would be great.
ie, no mention of restricting people from from pointing out serious errors, just NOT ON THIS THREAD. If you read the OP and title of the thread, the reason for that seems quite clear too. That, plus it's a near certainty you could find other negative atos threads, you may even be aware of some that you have posted in.:)

Yes thank you Fridge3, I asked the moderator to step in as this thread has gone from what I intended it to be. As you know Cit_k I have no problem with you and your views in fact I share many of them, I just wnated this one bringing back to what I intended it for as there are several other threads where the same people are saying the same arguments.

If no lies were told, then no need to report that I would think.
However, it is clearly 100 percent the opposite of what you originally wrote, which was

"even added things i don't really suffer from to make sure i passed"

Which clearly stated that things were added that you DONT really SUFFER FROM.

If you are suffering from them, then fair enough, but its odd you would write first that you did not suffer from them, then change to a different story once it was pointed out that made your good story 'a bad one'.

But congratulations on getting through, is there any other parts of your story that are the 100 percent opposite of what you originally wrote, just out of interest?
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

The best course of action is to report off topic posts and emphasise in the report that reminders from MSE and OP have been issued. That way they can remove the offending posts.:)

Without wishing to seem rude, but why specifically ask for good stories in particular? Shouldn't it be honest, accurate accounts (whether they're good or bad) that you want?

And if most of the public comment you've found has been negative, then shouldn't that be telling you something?
