  • Don't you think that posts #12-15 have dragged the thread away from its intention and back into the usual complaints?

TBH there are so many factions on this forum.
There are those who have had a really bad experience with the system that they see only badness. Some, who have come through relatively unscathed who can't see what the fuss is about. Some, who have an axe to grind who will push horror stories into any relavent thread. And there will will be nasty little herberts who just want to slag off ANY reasonable argument and turn this place into a Beavis and Butthead playground.
For me, this place is a poor forum, dip-in and get the info you need and then go, not a place for serious discussion.
Do you have a leesonce for yer minkey?
  • Just to clarify that the doctor didn't have the ESA50 but had a one page with my name on at least. I am just on hold to request the ESA85. The decision letter came while I was still in hospital following surgery so haven't had the chance to call up yet.

I believe that the B&W guides are very useful. I used them for DLA for my son and ESA for me. If you have a condition where there is a support group who can provide you with the information by other means then they may not be as helpful.

  • Sorry but going back to the medical report I should have been offered, would it be too late now to get a copy of it? The medical was October.
  • I called up just now and they said that it would be sent out in 5 days. I would imagine that it is just on their imaging system and they would need to still have it from October.

    They should still have it.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

I did post my experience last night but it appears to have gone into the sin bin somewhere along the lines. I wonder how that happened

ATOS are an excellent organisation tasked with the very difficult job of getting the benefits classes back into work.

ATOS take the lost , and give them a future, where those people can be freed from their benefit lifestyle and become productive members of society again.
So Disabled people are not productive members of society.
  • Posted in another thread on here, But will add it here to,

Had my home visit the doctor could see how much i was in a panic, Well we only seem to hear bad things so here is a good one,

As the doctor could see how bad i was doctor said that they need to ask a few things but will be out of here within 10 mins,

Asked a few questions didn't examine me at all and even added things i don't really suffer from to make sure i passed, Well it's down to the DM and won't know for a few weeks yet,

So now because of what the doctor wrote i'm now a agoraphobia zombie who cannot do anything at all and i do mean anything

Doctor was in and out in less than 10 mins i asked what i need to do now doctor just said wait but hinted i would pass no problem.

I phoned today to see what was happening i've passed the medical but DWP have nothing back yet when asked what group i was in she couldn't tell me but seemed to hint at the support group.
