Breaking now to have some food and watch Dr Who with the kids. Then back to it after bedtime.

I also may be watching some boots for Squish on eBay

Enjoyed Dr Who last night :) looking forward to Merlin starting in a month too!

Squish was complaining about being cold yesterday evening. Told her that she'd have to lump it and put more clothes on as the heating is not going back on this month. Ovo contacted us a couple of weeks back and wanted to double our DD. I said no way, but have allowed them to set it at £100pcm, but I really want to put the heating on as late as possible this year. On a plus note, we have the cavity wall and loft insulation that we didn;t have last year, so hopefully that will make a difference.

Nose back to the essay-writing grindstone this morning, although my tum tells me there needs to be some breakfast first.

1326/2500 now. Not as much progress on writing as I would have liked, but I have read and summarised 6 articles ranging from 8 to 40 pages long for use in my introduction (it's a report write up), and also had a bit of a LBM in terms of what the heck they're actually talking about :rotfl: bedtime now I think. Going to get up with manwife tomorrow morning and hopefully get some work in before the kids get up.

So, today I am making the most of the final day of sun, and washing all our bedding to dry on the line. Depending on how fast the washer goes I may also be able to do some towels. Got 1 load on the line, 2nd load in the washer, 3rd load waiting to go in.

Hoping back garden grass is dry enough for manwife to cut when he comes home from work. Front grass was done at the weekend - back is like a swamp after the rain though

Raiding the freezer for sausages for dinner tonight. Shredded chicken carcass remains last night to make chicken curry tomorrow, plus some to go in the freezer for chicken and ham pie in a couple of weeks.

Was going to eBay school uniform this week, but about an hour ago I offered it on a fb sale group on the off chance someone there wanted it. Have already sold the boy's uniform! Woohoo for not paying eBay fees! :D

  • I'm also hoping the grass is dry and there's enough light to cut the grass after going to the gym tonight.

Have tested the grass - think it should be good to cut :D fourth load of washing is now in the washer. 1 and 2 are dried and folded, 3 is currently drying on the line. I love days like this :)

Have recieved an offer to buy all the girl's school uniform, except for the summer dresses  wasn't expecting that but not going to complain!

Final slog today on this assignment - 1987/2500 now. Going to try to have it finished by lunchtime.

Grocery shopping this afternoon, plus Post Office to post items. Transferred the money from Paypal but it said it will be delayed up to 24 hours for review? Meh.

This afternoon need to do a financial checkup to see where we are. Think we're going to be overdrawn again :(
