Thanks Skintfoodie, I hope so cos OH keeps hogging my laptop to make up for not having Sky :mad:Full LBM 26 Sept 110 -
We need to keep telling ourselves, these sacrifices, they're not forever. Anyone can endure anything for a while
That's what I keep telling myself anyway
*Grits teeth and smiles*
:rotfl:
That's trueI tell myself this often, but had forgotten with the current focus on cutting back.

Payday is next Monday, so here's an update on some spends:
food - overspend expected to be about £50 (although this ignores the extras I've bought from cash I had on me, so it's actually worse than this)
petrol/trains - overspend is currently £45, could get worse
mobiles - overspend is £20, I think that's it for this one
There's still £25 in the 'cash' budget and the clothes budget of £30 hasn't been touched.
If everything were to clear/get paid before payday, then I would exceed my OD by about £120, but there are a few bits I can hold off paying until payday, so at least that's manageable.Full LBM 26 Sept 110 -
I've just been reading back over my posts for the last week or so - I'm so glad I started this diary as it's really helping to keep track of things and it's great to have some support
. OH doesn't know about my diary, and I don't intend telling him cos he'd be really annoyed
.
Anyway, on re-reading, I've been reminded about the T3sc0 rewards so that I can buy some train tickets. I had a receipt earlier in the week which showed that I have 760 points to convert. I think the next 'payout' is in November...is that right? If so, then I will have enough to buy a week's worth of tickets, so will be giving it a try.
I feel like I'm treading water this week, just waiting for payday to arrive. Not much I can do at the moment, just damage limitation as far as possible :rotfl:.
On checking the bank this morning, there was another mobile phone charge of £17, so mobiles are now £37 overspent . OH wants to try to get DS onto contract, as part of the reason for the overspend was bad timing on topping up DS's phone. I'm not sure how or why this happens but will see what we can do to improve the situation.
Sorry folks, feel like I'm rambling this morning :rotfl:

My DW does not know about the diary either. Again no need to tell her.
Tesco rewards are due early November. Currently standing at just over £31.
Will have to have a look at rewards as we usually use them for shopping. Maybe a magazine subscription for a Christmas present.June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

I'm another secret diary-writer. But then the reason I'm on here is because he would hate talking in such details about 'our journey' (and he would vomit if I called it that to him) whereas you lot seem to tolerate me quite well.:DDebt £26k 18/10/140

Not a lot happening in the Been household today. Still waiting for various cheques to arrive (insurance, telephone cash back etc), but on the plus side I have £75 coming from Av0n next week which will mostly go towards target CC
.
It's nice to know I'm not the only secret diary writer:rotfl:. I think we must be a strange bunch

Sc0t P0wer have now asked for our meeting readings so it looks like we will soon be switching our energy suppliers
. They are £25 a month cheaper than e0n so the sooner, the better. I'm also hoping that we'll be due a refund from e0n as our account is currently in credit
.
I've also just done the Asd4 price guarantee and got a voucher for £4.33 and another for £5 off our next shop
All good stuff :TFull LBM 26 Sept 110
