URGENT HELP regarding diesel in my car

Not necessarily, I've had a policy where it said I could make a reasonable charge on a passenger to cover expenses (but could not make a profit), it was listed under the headline "Car Sharing" and as I understand it many insurers allow similar.
Never heard of that! So in effect you could make your self into an unofficial taxi, but only claim that you have been paid reasonable expenses. Bit hard to manage isn't it?0 -

It seems fairly well defined and workable to me.
You mustn't make a profit, but you can recover your costs; fuel is a cost, of course, and so is servicing. If you go for fixed priced servicing after a set mileage then it's especially easy to work out this cost.
I don't get how you could set up as an unofficial taxi unless you charged for labour or exaggerated your costs. If you did that then your insurance would be invalid of course...0
