Will everything be going from 3x to 4x? So train tickets used to be £5 for £15 worth, and it'll go from £5 to £20 worth? So it's worth waiting to exchange current points?

It will probably only be the restaurant vouchers that increase to 4x, it says in the article only their most popular deals such as Pizza Express, Cafe Rouge etc.

Sorry, but it does seem unrealistic to imagine that you could just put money in (with-out buying anything) and when its vouchers come out you can convert them into three times the value!

I was sure it would be incorrect ....as anybody could top up £500 and then spend £1500 of rewards on a holiday. They would have a stampede of people wanting to top up.

Still don't understand Tescos financial problems when they choose to sell off all their electrical items at 75%+ the RRP (on grab-it forum). So those of us without that type of cash upfront miss out now?

Don't you hate - WHEN on every news channel """" TESCO """"" price """"""" reductions and everybody sticks their 2p in!!!

How many times do we have all this hype and it turns out to be a damp squib ?? !!!

They are clawing back £350m from clubcard double points reducing to single points so unless you buy what they choose in the price cuts, will you save ??

I am not particularly loyal - Mr. T is attracting me @ the mo as I have a series of £6 and £4 off £40 spends. When they end I'll prob just go back to Morrisons unless Mr. T price cuts are irresistible.

Also sometimes I'll go where the biggest part of a shop things are on offer.
  • Well we welsh shoppers are being doubly hit - from 1st October, when the welsh assembly introduces a 5p per bag policy, Tesco are withdrawing the green clubcard points for welsh shoppers
    2014 Target;
    To overpay CC by £1,000.
    Overpayment to date : £310

    2nd Purse Challenge:
    £15.88 saved to date

To be honest. Went to my local Tesco Extra for the first time in months this week.

What a tired place. Not much cheap going on there.

When I had my own transport, used to shop there lots.

Now I can't figure out why I did.

Whatever they reduce in their usual price cut con, tesco won't get me going back there in a hurry

I don't believe they are allowed to give inducements or rewards for people to use their own bags. Perhaps, the Welsh Assembly took the view that the 'carrot' had been tried, now it's time for the 'stick'!

Seeing as the change changes don't take effect till Monday, your comments seem a bit premature. Until, you go back after that, you won't know if they are right or who knows you may be missing out!
