Book recommendations please......

Can anyone recommend some books for a 16 year old boy?? He has read all the Harry Potters and Percy Jacksons, anything along these lines perhaps?? Would like to get a couple but need paper backs as dont want to pay extra for hardbacks:money: thanks

    At 16 my brother was deeply into the sci-fi/fantasy type of books.

    How about something by Robert Muchamore....or Charlie Higson....Justin Richards or Alan Gibbons...

    Is he a member of a library, they have teen sections, so should be able to find something good to get into. Also would be free - very MSE.

    point horrors were a fav in my younger years - are they still about? maybe also scoot on ebay for diary of adrian mole?

    I wish I still read as much as I did back in the day.. :)

    Thanks I want to by him a couple as we are off on holiday next week just the two of us and I worry he will be bored:o and I dont quite trust him on holiday with a library book he would probably lose it!

    I am a woman but I think these would appeal to boys too?

    Great books, I'm currently reading Adrian Mole the Prostate Years - really enjoying it and bringing back loads of memories of reading the first few when i was a teen.
