It is chilly at night here as well and I actually popped a fleece over the quilt last night.
Had a bit of a fall in the garden yesterday bloody knee gave out on me, and have hurt my arm :( I fell pretty heavily and I am no light weight so it bloomin hurts at the moment and I snapped the metal prop because I fell on that as I went down. Luckily DD's BF turned up and helped me up but I was laying there for a good 15 mins
DH wants me to see the doctor but I CBA, it is probably only bruised so what is the point.

Dinner tonight was Chicken Stew and very tasty it was too :D

well DH is washing up so I am off for a shower and get my nightie on and see if I can find anything to watch.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

  • Evening all, hugs and love and healing vibes and welcomes from me. I am exhausted and overwrought tonight. Uncles.funeral was this afternoon, and I found out, a man, whom I had heard passed away a few weeks ago in quite tragic circumstances, was OH's cousin's husband. A,man I saw and waved to from the car on an almost daily basis. Because of families being the way they are, we only found out today it was him, and missed the funeral. I am so shocked, I saw him being given cpr and didn't even realise it was him, iyswim. Feel awful, these are people whose wedding we attended, who visited when their and our children were born. He leaves behing two heartbroken children. Life is so cruel. In the last year, four people I know have lost their husbands at a young age, and nine more children will grow up without their fathers. And then there's my sister and her friend at the moment, whose husbands are fighting cancer. All those poor women, and.those children. I an feeling desperately sad.tonight.
