Well, as we've established, it really is down to personal taste, but out of that list Oblique posted, Ira is the only one I'd not turn my nose up at. I think the rest are awful.0

You've got a bit of a fixation with Second World War generals - what with Truman and Ike. Hmmmnnn...less generals, more journalists. The fact that people give their pets "human" names shouldn't prevent "pet" names being used for people. Surely there must be a government dept we could report these parents to? Or maybe an alarm should be triggered at the registry office for anything bordering on cruelty to children or beginning with K
They could then be given a book of baby names to reselect from and there definitely wouldn't be a Hagar or a Kai in there.
