Evening all
((((hugs))))) to those in need, and welcome newbies
Brrr it's turned wintery again, windy and wet boo!
Well uni was an eye-opener  we have so much work to do for this year!! But I'm looking forward to it (no-one remind me of that when I'm stressing in a few months! :rotfl:). Sadly our favourite lecturer announced today that for health reasons he is resigning and will only be there for a few more weeks, will miss him.
OS wise - LO's for tea, DW is on, WM on with towels.
Night all

Candygirl, the only one not to send DD and DS's skin into an itch frenzy was Persil non bio, although sometimes I find white marks on the dark stuff so dont use too much of it!RIP Iain

Hi all,
Late one for me, hope your all well x
Feeling a bit stressed today - Dad and SM over Friday, looking forward to seei g them (not seen them for 5 years) but house a mess due to building work, DD playing up ,cas she,s a mare and doesn,t want to 'play' happy families - parents don,t eat meat (eat fish though) and kids moaning cas they don,t want to eat 'veggie carp' Ahhhhh:mad:
Have explained to them that, as per normal, no-one will starve, everyone will have good food to eat, and just beause I,m catering out of our norm, does not mean that they are going to forced to eat anything thatbthey wouldn,t normally eat.... I wouldn,t mind, but the kids don,t NOT eat anything, they have been bought up to try everything, I think they are just doing the normal kid 'I,m out of my comfort zone' thing - gits.... :rotfl:
Dinner tonight was roasted veg (sweet pot, onion, butternut squash, mushroom, pots, peppers, toms etc) and lamb chops with garlic and rosemery - not a moan, mermmer, winge - nothing
Anyway enough of my moaning - have a great evening all xxNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Islandmaid - could you not make meals that can be both veggie and meat friendly? e.g spal bol, one lot meat and the other veggie using quorn or just veggies in tom sauce, same for curry/stirfry etc? roast dinner, meat and veggie alternate? I'm veggie but always tell cooks just to omit the meat part and i'll have the rest of the meal e.g. pots and veg!

HH I have just put on three lbs just reading your recipes for condensed milk cookies .Last time I ate condensed milk was in a sandwich around 55 + years ago.Oh the thought of a connie-onnie sarnie makes me drool:)
Arm still playing up I see the chief torturer tomorrow, no doubt she will complain that its not reducing as much as it should but hey I can't do much about it but learn to live with it
Eldest DD popped in to pick up DGS's car tonight as he is in the studios from 08.00.a.m. this morning until finish, but at least they will send him home in a car from west London.I think he is working on a Jimmy Carr show at the moment and they try to get as many 'in the can' as possible as filming is quite expensive.
DGD Holly goes to get registered at her Uni on Friday so she is buzzing at the moment .DGS Henry does his 11+ this Saturday morning and is not bothered at bit ,he says 'either he passes or he doesn't, whatever' Mum and Granny are more fussed than he is bless him
Well I'm off to bed for a quick read God bless all here
Cheers JackieO xx0
