  • Tried to take it a little easier today as i absolutley knackered myself yesterday doing anything and everything, although when i look back on it doent actually seem like that much. Back to today. So far ive:
    organised the drawers and on top of the bookcase in the LR;
    Put the previous duvet set in td to dry, now folded and put away;
    went through all the letters, receipts and coupons that were pinned to the fridge ( turned out to be a bit of a mammoth job);
    took the hinges off the door in the LR ( well the catch that makes it a fire door, dont want LO to catch his wee fingers);
    checked banks and e-bay;
    caught up with the last two episode of mildred pierce while pottering about ( completely dissapointed with it);
    Not really done much today then, still need to take pictures of my pram and e-mail them to a prospective buyer, sort out dinner ( toad in the hole) and nip down to asda to pick up a few bits to make Harrys dinners ( hopefully catch some good whoopsies while down there )

    Wishing everyone a good afternoon !

    ps anyone with excema, what do you find to be the best non bio washing powder?:o
    Hi CG; I've used Persil Non-Bio for the last 9 years, and only really get a problem if I've got a Lupus flare on or am very stressed. HTH.:o

    I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
    Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
    When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    thoughts of today is hellllllllllllllllp................ i feel like i am sinking when nothing is actually happening to me - just those around me that i love - dad has cancer had an op and is now on his first dose of pallative chemo and the side effects have just kicked in from friday - the runs, (not good with an illiostomy bag, tiredness (he is my dad the strong one that is always on the go) he cant even keep up walking with my mum and even a snail could beat her... daughter been to hospital today and they want her to have a lapaoscopy (sp) on the 3rd november not happy with what they saw with camera today with fluid in pelvis and one of her fallopian tubes - feel sad, desparate, useless, 2 hours away from daughter in car and 4 and half hours from dad - work fulltime and took my family emergency leave when he had major bowel op in july - my answer dh has just been to the shop and got me a bottle of wine - had lots of tears tonight - just feel useless

    i guess that we are lucky that dd1 who is only 22 already has dgs - but the doc said that she should never have been given the coil that she has got in place that seems to have caused all this problem cos of her prior medical notes eg annemia (sp) feel lost....
