  • I remember grabbit forum was for when deals were actually posted most of the time too, still at least you dont have difficulty finding them on hotukdeals rather than wade through the posts like where can I find xxxx?

I try my hardest to avoid Tesco after becoming involved with this site - http://www.tescopoly.org/ via my thesis for Uni. The organisation as a whole is morally questionable, but like everyone else, I'm living on a budget, have a family to feed and often find I have to rely on their, let's face it, hard to resist offers. I am lucky that I live in one of the last towns in the UK not to have a Tesco. I just hope one day I'm wealthy enough to never have to go again :(

How many of those 'proper shops' would have the kinds of grabbits that MSE'er's crave?

Most of the time 'proper shops' charge vastly over inflated prices, so it's not wonder they're dying out.

They are getting too big and powerful,we have 17 in my City,Norwich a fine City :)is now Norwich a Tesco City :(

Completely agree. I only use Ts for grabbits n glitches. I NEVER part with cash for real shopping there. You can't beat the butchers for ham hocks etc, my local farm for free range eggs and Lidl n Aldi for the bulk of my 'real' shopping.

I hate seeing all the tesco threads we only have the small ones here. Its to far to justify on the they might have x y z deal or glitch. That goes for the asda ones to.

we only have sainsburys, waitrose (very good deals and most people don't think to look there. Love the end of the month discontinued bins),co-op,marks and sparks and a lidl.

I was thinking of writing to T's and start a petition with local mse'ers to open another Tesco's near me, 3 just doesn't seem to be enough ......and the
amount of petrol I spend on all those glitches;)

Why is it when it's quiet with T's threads (yes this IS quiet compared to recently) someone decides to post a thread saying there's too many T's threads?!:rotfl:

Suggestion to the OP why not create a T's bargain thread to accompany the misprice thread a bit like the home bargains/primal threads?
