Managed to get some Bag Clips for 1p yesterday.

In the Go Cook section £3.00 reduced to 30p but went through at 1p

I try my scanner on the Tesco app every time I go but I don't think it's that great. All the clip strip items come up as 'unable to find product' but it works on normal grocery items and often tells you the date a special offer ends if it applies, but I'm not sure how totally accurate it is to be honest.

    HTH

Does this mean there is an app which you can scan tesco barcodes to find the prices?

Yes, it's a Tesco groceries app which you can log in to and do your shopping on. On the main menu there is a 'scan' function which you can use and it brings up the price of an item. I was just saying that although it works on general grocery items eg. tin of beans, it doesn't seem to find the items on the clip strips.

    It was free to download.

If you go to the Tesco thread on the "It's gone but was it any good", the first post gives a list of useful abbreviations.

    hi all

this is my first post so i Hope its in the right place i have been Reading this tread for a while and would like to thank all for posting the info on bargains to be had

just back from Mr ts i purchased a meal deal and did not pick up the side so i went to cs and explained

the lady on cs said she would refund my purchase for the wine main and desert total £14.99

and then sell me the meal deal for ten pounds when i got home and checked my receipts i had three by now one for ten pounds for the meal deal

another for my shopping and a sales voucher customer copy for ten pounds does this mean she only refunded ten pounds and not £14.99 to my card ?

that would be an overcharge of £4.99 if so would this qualify for dtd

    thanks all

Today at Tesco H*dge H*ll Birmingham amongst my shopping I got a pack of vermicelli 500g, SEL 50p scanned at £1.39. Got back £1.78. Loads more on the shelf, if anyone wants any.

Why do names of stores have asterisks in them or is this deliberate by the posters?

It's to stop the stores using the search function on here for things mispriced in their store. Helps not to be too cryptic tho! E.g. Ch3ster and not C***er or we won't know on here where you mean.
