  • This is going to be my last post regarding this...

But when I get free items, I dont and would not sell them to friends and family, I would give it to them... Like Ive done with the batteries, Dettol hand wash, dove deodorant, cereal, Mega blocks, bleach etc etc.. I got them (most of them for free) I would never charge anyone for items that I had walked out without having to pay a penny for...
May I add, if I went to the local shop and was given the wrong change, I would say so... Tesco... No I wouldnt...

Thats my last comment on the matter..

Blimey not everything is free! :D My sister in law is currently choosing from a choice of 3 cameras. She will pay what I paid. I cannot afford to give away something costing £30! I find the bargains and they all benefit. Of course, with the custard, rice pudding and jelly glitch they all got mixed trays of them for nowt! :)

  • Just been to my local 24hr Tesco and they have Young's 200g fresh cooked King Prawns at £6.00 BOGOF.

£6.00 seems unusually expensive to me!

    Anyone shed any light? :money:

they are "normally" 3.00GBP with a red sticker on, lately they also have a smaller size ones at 2.00GBP...
a while back the bigger ones with stickers were going through at 6 quid and were free on dtd(got 5 packs:D)... so they only put it up to 6 quid for it to look like a great deal with bogof...

They must have been doing this a long time - the Bacofoil bags and Cookaliners were from at least two or three years ago (and I'm still getting through mine) :rotfl:

I am still working through mine.:p
Dreading the day I finally run out.
You are right, it must be a couple of years ago at least - and I also gave lots to family and friends.

I haven't managed to grab many bargains recently in my Ts, as they never seem to have the items mentioned. I have been to 3 tescos today and none of them stocked the Pink Parazone , not even the HUGE great Tesco on the other side of town.
Pucka pads were full price as well, so not having any success at the moment.:(

Tesco said it would be simplifying promotions, reducing buy-one-get-one-free deals in favour of everyday lower prices.
It will also end a "Double Clubcard" points promotion in four weeks - reinvesting the cash in cheaper deals.
But points handed out under the loyalty card scheme will have FOUR TIMES the value - up from three - meaning bigger discounts at restaurant chains such as Strada, Cafe Rouge and Pizza Express.

At the moment CC points are worth 6% of your Tesco spend if you spend them on the 3x rewards. If they abolish the double points and put the rewards up to 4x, you only get 4% of your Tesco spend back. Therefore the phrase "bigger discounts" as employed by Tesco is somewhat disingenuous, methinks. However, will be of advantage on deals with extra points - which reminds me, found a good one on HP printer cartridges yesterday. Will post.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Morning all
See I missed some shananigans last night lol!
At risk of being slated can I politely remind everyone to try and post misprices on this thread, after all that's why it was started!
Still seeing misprices on a new thread for each item, the stripey glasses and megablocks etc etc
Ok I shall now go and run for cover!

Your pleas may be falling on deaf ears in here, it's the people who are unaware of this thread posting on grabbit. To be honest it doesn't bother me as I wouldn't have realised the good deals, like many other mse'rs.

I think it's often the other way round.

Ie they put the price up for a minimum number of days - 28 from memory.

Then they bring out the pack that says 'half price' which sells like hot cakes.

OK this is BOGOF so not quite the same situation.
