Their running an ebay shop, so the tax man must be involved.. Id have thought!!!!
I used to sell a few things on ebay (that reminds me, I should be listing now) but I never got to the point of having to open a shop on ebay...0 -

What annoys me more than anything is the fact that they a running a buisness out of it... Its not a particular item, its various items, and selling them job lot!!!!
Is there a way of reporting them to ebay??
For what exactly? Buying something cheaply and selling for a profit? That's business. All shops work on that principle.
It's only a game

i know people have had to open ebay stores due to them listing numerous items of they're clothing of many different sizes i.e hubby daughters etc but ebay don't notify the taxman that's the responsibility of the shop owner as far as i'm aware:xmastree: :snow_grin Santa's Little Helper :snow_grin :xmastree:0 -

LOL - Yes, how would you explain this one to them?
"Errrrr - Ive got a receipt for my purchase from Tesco's, (which also reflects a refund/DTD) and now Im selling it to make a profit at full price plus shipping" - And how would you calculate your tax on that? pmsl - What goes around comes around - sometimes it takes a while, but it will catch up with them!! - I notice they are based in Cardiff, maybe the tax man down there needs some promptingIt only takes a moment to say a Thank-You, which goes a long way!0 -

Yep. Your right, just about anyone can open a basic shop on ebay. It costs £14.99 per month, but hay, when you get things for free to list, who cares!!!!
Q. Who can open an eBay Shop?
A. To open a Shop, you must be a registered eBay user with a seller's account. You'll also need to meet one of the following requirements:
Basic Shop:- You must have a minimum feedback score of 10, or
- You must be PayPal Verified
- You must be a registered business seller on eBay
- You must be PayPal Verified
- Maintain a 12-month average Detailed Seller Ratings score of 4.4 or above in each of the four areas

I'm not going to quote any particular person's posts but remind people again that this is the TESCO MISPRICE AND DISCUSSION THREAD 12.
Stop waffleing about what people are getting and doing with their finds and moaning about them. I sell a lot of the items I get to friends and family but anything that is surplus may end up on Ebay. They then get it cheaper than they perhaps would have done from elsewhere. It's nobody else's business what I do with what I get so get on with finding stuff but remember to help others by reporting finds. Remembering of course to give as much info as possible to help find them.
Just posting thing like "I got one too for £20" is not very helpful.
