I had a bad week altogether, went way over my £50 budget @ £62.42 BUT this doesn't even include the £40 I spent on Friday night on my mates birthday which I was planning on not going. I have to be more focussed and harder on myself this week. So setting my budget at £40 this week. Starting after I come back from the pub tonight

Also my gf's moms bday tommorow so will have to buy a present, this will not be out of my Sunday to Friday challenge money though. I promise im going to stop cheating soon :D
  • hi can i join please am new although have been lurking for a while but have now had my lbm :j - today i have spent £5.99 on a new headlight bulb for the car - luckily dh got it i wouldn't have even been able to find halfords let alone know what i was looking for looked like :rotfl:

i saw the list moozie do you do the list each sunday? what is not included - food, fuel??

this week is a bit more expensive for me as i have dinner out with a friend but only cheap pub meal, and am trying to turn down dinner out on fri as just too much - think will have to go for drinks after but if i only have soft drinks as driving will be nothing really.

would like to join in though so am predicting £20 which seems a lot still even though considering debts have obviously been spending lots more!! but not including fuel or main shop - will include any milk, fruit top ups though

edit  do i have to include spending today - if so will be £25

  • Our joint budget was £19.30, with food of £40.

Well spent £42.something - there was some flash packs of my 'normal' washing powder for £1.49, don't need this very minute but got enough to last a month or so .

From the joint budget we spent £30.89 but that does include a lovely pair of boots reduced from £50 to £11.20, and its all my neighbours fault ... they didn't telll us they had builders in on tues and my lunchtime I'd had enough of of the drilling into the adjoining wall, it was windy and rainy, I was fed up so I went to the shops  If they'd told me I'd have arranged to do something else .. poor excuses I know lol :rotfl:

    Joint budget £20 again
    £40 for weekly food shop
