Expensive day today. £91 spent on 3 work shirts and 2 ties.

Still need some more work trousers and work shoes.

Also need some trainers and jumpers but they'll have to wait!

Last week was my first week, and I set myself an easy goal of £20. Actual spend was £12.59 :)

My team at work is going out for lunch on Friday, but I will budget for that. Bank account is pretty tight until payday on Friday, so I will keep my spends under the £15 cash I have in my wallet right now.

ETA: spent £1.40 today on a newspaper so I could get a free yoga DVD

  • Hi everyone

My challenge this week is £10.00 for the week again. hopefully will be better at keeping it all up to date this week and posting daily. Had a NSD today, had to go out to the osteopath to sort my back out so had to pay her £35, but that has been budgeted elsewhere. Happy that I didn't spend any other money, was to knackered and just wanted to get home to bed! LOL!

And its another no spender for me!

Even managed to avoid the aforementionned (yesterday) takeaway with flatmate!

I'm still a bit too fragile to join in the challenge again after brief hysterical emotional crisis but I'm hoping to continue a nice run of no spenders after some food shopping tomorrow. Hoping for less than £20 on that!

    Hi all,

Been pretty busy and tired all week especially Thursday when I made the most of Ebay 10p listing day. Spent approx. £89 this week, well above my budget of £40 - oh dear... This doesn't even include my Ebay purchases but I've sold 3 items totaling over £30 and I reckon it will cancel my spend as I have bids on other items (from previous buyers so I know I will get paid).

Today so far have spent 9p on reduced bread, brought NOTW paper but used my free paper voucher so £0. Think I will budget £80 this week only because I am going to browse in the sales tomorrow during my lunch and might see some things I like.

  • Hi everyone, my budget for last week was £20 and I only spent £8.47. Its my brothers birthday next saturday so I needed to buy him a present but I waited until saturday so it didn't go out of my budget (sneaky!!) I ended up spending £20 on him! Anyway this weeks budget will have to be £10 as I have very very little money left until payday now which isn't until next Friday the 26th!
    Just trying to be me.....
