  • Morning All,

I have been around just lurking, been finding the last few days quite difficult. Although I was mentally prepared for OHish being exOH it transpires that I wasn't emotionally, hence the very lonely feelings, I guess they will go away at some point.

I am however completely reassured by the new home my once beautiful neddy has gone to, I have been inundated by pics on fb, and all look very happy. Glad that I have made someone else very happy.

Back to the here and now.

    1. there will be no more talk of exOH, as this is clearly having a negative impact on my life. His loss honest :rotfl:
    2. DS is the most important thing, making sure he is happy, and this doesn't necessarily mean SPENDING!!!
    3. Debt busting, also very important and the main reason for being here.

I get paid tomorrow (I think maybe Friday) but then I will know my exact income per month for ongoing, as this is the first time that i have had my correct salary since july, all very complicated change of job etc etc but not incorrect as such iyswhim???? So I should be able to complete my SOA, laughs out load as have never posted one before as everyone would have thought I was crackers spending on the horse but I don't have to hide that now!

Probably not the best way to start but out in London all day tomorrow for work, then my brothers 30th so will be popping to see him for a drink and giving my pressie, and then Friday have a friends birthday meal, I know that this will be expensive but I NEED to get out.

So back to work now and to think of how to debt bust and save, ooh and maybe I should do some work ;)

Ok so it is our SOA, please bear in mind this is the first month with no horse hence the comprehensive budget review, this is also the first month of my stable salary since July, and bucket loads of other factors including moving etc etc

So I guess this month is

    1. keep a spending diary
    2. actually allocate my 'save for bill money'
    3. make sure my budgets are viable
    4. start rebuilding my store cupboards, getting there but it will take some squirrelling
    5. STOP FORGETTING MY BANKING PASSWORDS ITS GETTING DULL NOW:D:D:D:D

  • Right thats me SOA up and official and in the main forum, wait and see what has to be said,

Today wasn't too expensive really, managed to only buy a large latte for £1.80 which all things considered and previous visits to London for work is exceptional for me, not a shop in sight

  • Progress for today...

have transferred my non-monthly monthly spends to savings a/c 2, including medical, holiday, oil, emergencies etc across

have paid £10 extra to all c/c so we have officially over paid all this month only by a bit but needs must,

haven't got much further than planning my ebaying but that is a step further than yesterday

loose change needs investigating as there are piles and pots everywhere, need to revise the system and cash in whatever is about towards the cc's.

My first cc to go will be virgin and I am hoping that with ebay sales etc it will go this month as there is less than £200 on it now :T

My challenges for November for myself are:

    1. 15 nsd. laughing as i type as didn't even manage 10 in October but that was a funny month.
    2. Err make £10 extra per day, amusing myself here feel the ebay planning has to turn into actually doing soemthing!!!
    3. Take my monthly spend cash out of the bank, take my cash card out of my purse and do not use it again!!!
    4. buy dress for Christmas do's x3, but only 1 dress, I have lost nearly 2 stone since last christmas and really don't have anything that fits, so this dress will be bought from extra money made, unless I can make something fit

£10 extra is better than spending the £10, so well done! :T

Head over to the "Make £10 a day in November thread" and join the challenge. You will get plenty of ideas and motivation from everyone there. Hope to see you there! :D

  • that took all of 30 seconds but have revised my make £10 per to make £5 per day, little more realistic and hopefully not as daunting therefore less of a defeatist attitude.

Off we go, well after a nice night out with the girls tonight :D
