  • Just snowballed without the mortgage, because as it says in my sig .... later!!!

And the result is using £500 per month which is only £100 more than my minimum payments I should be cc/od debt free by october 2013, ideally I would like that to be october 2012 or sooner, as soon as possible would be nice but have to be a bit realistic, if it starts getting closer I think I will have a bit more motivation.

I am going to move the £100 from the savings account to virgin, going to do it now..

Effectively have £900 left for the remainder of the month, will hopefully only have to use half of that with the rest coming of my OD on the current account (so not really my £900 its the banks but as long as it comes down every month, I will be happy)

Onwards, oh and maybe I should do some work really :rotfl::rotfl:

    Just found your diary Freshair.

There will be days when you are down and others when you are up - well done on the £3K payrise too.

You will be pleased to know that it is free listing on ebay this weekend:D I shall be photographing more and listing more - I have a ton of wedding stuff to get rid of (I am sick of the sight of it), I don't care if it goes for a fiver or less, I want rid (the dresses will be sold another way).

It is amazing what you can do with very little - the Matrix has helped me:D

  • Right...so far

Me and DS have moved, ma and pa helped greatly very much appreciated, but still have boxes!!! and more boxes but it will all get put away shortly

I have made a massive decision over the weekend, have contacted the lovely lady who came to see neddy, and asked her if she wopuld like to rehome her for a nominal finacial transaction, and she saud yes :j so although I wont have the quick turn round in debt repayment I will have the money that I have been using for livery on a monthly basis to payback debt and start getting our lives back ion track.

I am 'happy' with my decision and I think that neddy will have a lovely life, and perhaps more importantly me and ds will as well :D

Just happy that I have found such a lovely lady,

Feel like I am moving in the right direction,

And my broadband should be sorted tomorrow! feel very cut off fromt the rest of the world at home, :(

  • Not much to report on any front, most boxes empty now, nearly straight, but why is there always stuff that doesn't have a home????? Bit lonely but did live on my own for 3 years so shouldn't take much getting used to once we are over the hurdle.

I once read a book called 'who moved my cheese', all about change being good, I feel like i should rename it 'who moved my life!!'

I have been greatly motivated by a certain MG today, and am looking forward to my 'new' life still bit lonely and scared but sure it will get much better,

  • Hi FreshAir

Just read your diary from the start. I really need to start my own diary but just can't face it, lol. Because your gonna be sorting through boxes ect why don't you see this as a chance to "de-clutter"? I'm in the "make £10 pound a day in October" challenge and its a really inspiring thread on making and saving money. It sounds hard but it really isn't, and they are a lovely friendly bunch of people. I started with £5 a day and moved up to £10 after the first month.

Sorry to hear about having to rehome your horse. But i do think you have made the right decision. You and your son will have a better quality of life for it, and it sounds like your son understands. Love the whole "torch" conversation you had with him. I'm forever shouting at my kids to turn the lights off! Lol.

Will be following your diary because it find it inspirational!

    Good luck!

    xxx
