And my lesson for today is ..........
make sure you leave home early enough to get somewhere so it doesn't put nasty marks on your driving licence and cost you money! Might be able to do the speed awareness course, but either way it time or money wasted because I was late! Grrrrrr stupid FreshairJan 13/15 Feb 16/15 March 19/20 April 17/15:D May 0/17

Pretty uneventful and cheap weekend, always good not traumas not drunken stupidity. Needless to say yesterday was indeed a NSD, spent most of the day under my slanket on the sofa, playing DS ps3
But - the whole house is clean, floors washed and skirtings, washing all done, and apart from the last few things occuping the dryer all put away as well, putting away is normally my stubbling block so much easier to wear straight from the dryer :rotfl:
DS had a horrible weekend at his Dads from his account. Dad was out for most of the day saturday, and then went to a party on Saturday. Leaving DS and his half sister with their Nanny, but half sister screamed all night and kept DS awake, DS is not not sure if he wants to go to Daddy's anymore, he said what is the point if he is not going to be there, it is a fair point, I think DS is grown up enough to voice his own opinion. I can feel some interesting times ahead.
Enough of all that, this week I need to spend less than £20, including everything fortunately don't need shopping or anything like that so it is just the little spendy bits. Still a bit too much month at the end of the money but then I did have to spend £100 having the water drained off the top of my oil in the tank, so that was quite an expensive service!
I have set up all my extra bank accounts for oil, and pressies n stuff now my emergency fund has a reasonable amount in it, well enough for a washing machine etc if they pack up.
Sunday is a nearly new clothes sale and I have lots of bits to take so hopefully that will be profitable. Have to take my music magpie parcel to the post office today, thats just over £35, and I am STILL waiting for quidco to pay out some of it has been on there for nearly 4 months!
So plan for this week
Sort prices and bits out for clothes sale
Hem DS school trousers AGAIN
Surveys
Day for DS on saturday as he is going to be dragged to the clothes sale
Order oil, this should be ok to wait till next week but if I don't start thinking about it it will be Feb and we will be cold
Send water board meter reading as I am paying for a lot more than I am using
Check leccy and update meter reading
Have a good week peoples

Afternoon Diary,
Quick update
transpires i am not very good at NSD still have 6 more to achieve over the remainder of the month with today being a dentist visit and Saturday being a night out, very likely that Sunday will be a sofa day, so thats one but can see this not happening but will try anyway 15 seems very hard from here! Edit actually inpossible with the dentist and the night out, maybe I wont have to pay dentist today as know I have to go back already missing a piece of tooth from yesterday.
Saturday we did our shop came to £17 inc 3 pints of milk for 30p as it was going out of date on sunday, 2 pints in the freezer and one finished this morning.
Sunday we wnet to a nearly new clothes sale, jewellery to sell all good £25 up, I did go with the decision made not to spend but and there is always a but 3 dresses, 1 scarf, 1 pair of trousers, and a handbag £24, this came from my annual £350 budget for both of us so £304 to spend for the rest of the year, definately need some new white under crackers though especially for the summer as mine are decidely grey, but I will dye these black and buy new white ones.
Quidco money is confirmed to pay and have had £17.24 over the weekend already.
Nothing too exciting planned apart from getting some bits on ebay, this should be easier now as some of it is out already from the weekend. Surely someone must really NEED a red coast dress BNWT, time to find out!
Have a good week in MSE land

Not very good at this updating malarkey, but at least i am still doing the MSE thing, house is clean, and the last inside after moving frog has finally been dealt with. (Outside frogs will wait until it is warmer :rotfl:)
saturday night was supposed to be a night out but we had a girly night in instead resulting in NSD, made a lovely chocolate cake, pizza supplied by another and wine supplied by the others, all good. It transpires that there are more people having difficulties than i thought, above all I would urge anyone to be honest with their friends if they are continually asking to go out it turns out at least 3 of us didn't really have the money, and because of this I am going to hit my NSD target for Jan,
More positive, £170.47 on the make £5 per day extra, so now aiming for £10 per day in Feb, £290!!!!! But there are already a couple of bits on ebay, and surveys have been coming through reasonably regularly not gettign screened out of too many but it is frustrating when I do. Few books on green met, tried zapper but they didn't want anything i had.
I have spent on clothes but for what I got was barginous, all thanks to Lula for motivating. £304 remaining for the rest of the year for me and ds.
Definately doing better on the make do and mend front as well, although it now seems like half my life is taken up hemming up DS trousers, and I have a grey cardi that seems to gain a new hole every time i wear it, soon it will be more stitch than cardi :rotfl:
Sofa cushions are next on the mendy list, to be followed by the creation of a new bedspread for me to go with my soon to be decorated bedroom, have to try and work the monies out for this.
Sealed pot doesn't seem to be getting fed very much, but Jan was a very tight month after the festive excesses
So Feb targets
1. 15 NSD
2. £290 extra to make
3. Dye undercrackers black
4. Obviously general MSEing all down to being sensible
5. Feed the sealed pot more often
6. More selling!
7. Venture into the loft and start releasing the treasures for rehoming
Have a good week everyone

i suppose it doesn't matter if it brings in sales, and horses for courses and all that, i suppose it would be helping someone as well in a rounabout sort of way. if it works I have many a pair of shoes and tights could probably pay a cc off if they only went a 99p each :rotfl:Jan 13/15 Feb 16/15 March 19/20 April 17/15:D May 0/17
