My mate cleaned my car for me - inside and out and I have to be hinest, I have never seen it looking so clean and sparkly and spelling nice and new and it only cost me the price of a dinner.

Whilst he was doing that I cleaned the windows inside and out on the front of the flat. DW put on. Cleaned kitchen and loo. Cleaned lounge. Used that magical receipe of bicarb and bleach to scrub down the mouldy shower and am hoping that it will do the trick and finally whacked the WM on for quick wash of the towels etc.

All in all, had quite a busy Sunday!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

  • Hi again all,
thanks for your kind words and hugs - you know how it is. Anyway we've all had a wonderful family day, went to cinema (cheap kids club) then one of my fave sunday pub lunches and tonight we played bowling (not the dear sort - just the christmas prezzie in the lounge!) so it's been a good one.

Anyway wish it wasn't work again, at least I've got a lovely brisket of beef in the SC - so dinner for tomorrow is sorted.

Trying to watch Wild at Heart - but have read the thread instead, take care all and have a lovely week. BB xx

ARGH !! Well todays just been one of those days. I've had enough! DP put me in an even worse mood basically being an ignorant ****. Kids playing up in Tescos, dogs shredding a toy so ended up with bits everywhere! Ebay didn't notify me I was outbid on something I wanted so I lost out! Kids won't settle. I've just given up, try again tomorrow.

Lelc my son and DP both are into quad biking, see so many accidents mainly with the offroad bikes (quads being a bit more stable) when we're up the tracks. I've tried talking them out of it, but no no they insist so with the little one especially I just insist he has the best protective clothing I can by, cost me well over £300 this Christmas but well worth it for his safety.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyon and Happy birthday Kaz.

Just a quick post before bed. Had a busy weekend, yesterday we spent in London helping dd move out of her flat. The place she is buying hasn't gone through yet so we had to take loads of her stuff to two seperate places in London and bring a load home with us. We were shattered.

Today has been spent mainly sorting out what we brought back so that it fits into her room here.

Hugs to all who need them.

Had a great day today. Cleared a load of rubbish from the garden, got my new car valeted. It looks great, and was a real bargain, and did a load of painting. Good dinner too. All kind of leftovers.
Back to work tomorrow, but looking forward to it.
