I find when the sites like this (as they are sorting new servers) it's easiest to copy what I type, then post once, then see if it's worked then if it hasn't paste it in and post again. Either that or you post 2/3 times and have to delete it, or you loose all you typed. One day I might be more organised...........

Well, my birthday dinner party went well (too much food as usual) until 11.55pm when our stroppy next door neighbour banged on our front door and shouted at me because we were "laughing & talking" when she wanted to go to bed!! (Spud was asleep immediately above us & managed to stay asleep!) Suffice to say that put a dampner on the evening and we were in bed ourselves by 1am which is no bad thing but I am not feeling particually freindly torwards her now:mad::p
The good thing is I did ALL the clearing up before we went to bed so I have got up to a spotless house this morning & as I cleaned everywhere yesterday I can have a day off today:D
Off to church this morning then a quiet afternoon on the sofa watching a DVD during Spud's nap, hubby is going off brid watching & comming home via Ealing to pick up the new fire grate we bought on ebay yesterday afternoon.:D
Lunch : Salad
Dinner Leftover Mexican mince turned into spicy spag bol;)
Have a fab day everyone:T
Glad the party went well foodwise and having funwise.
I do wish builders would soundproof places better. I understand you want to laugh and talk at a dinner party, but understand people want to rest/sleep too. So many neighbour problems would not arise if builders were not cutting back on building costs.
I can't leave a place dirty at night. The mornings are harsh enough without seeing gungy stuff lying around from the night before. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Lamb in the oven, more bread soaking for a huMUNgus bread pudding - that'll teach me to use out of date yeast
Planned to do it the other day but failed to achieve that goal
D12yo has decided that *he* would like to make the bread pudding and a discussion ensued over the differences between a bread pudding and a bread & butter pudding. Bread pudding it is then
Hoovering done, polishing done, sink spotless (for at least the next 10 mins!), delicates washing - whites and darks awaiting - ironing pile halved :j
This sunshine really does put the bounce back into your step
Or, more accurately, it shows up the bits which grey and windy skies simple cannot reach:laugh:
I'm salivating at the smells wafting from the oven, it's aaaaaaages since we had roast lamb and there's a danger I might just have one too many 'tests' to see if it's done
Furbaby has developed knots in his fur, so an extra thorough grooming is in order and a pair of scissors will lessen any potential agonies:whistle: (He should be oh so grateful he isn't getting the bidet treatment *this* week!)
Bought a packet of Dove Farm quick dried yeast yesterday so I'm going to whip up a tasty loaf this afternoon - rather fancy a sun dried tomato and basil loaf meself .. wil go fabulously with the cheese I have in the fridge for packed lunches
Hark! Is that screams and 'arrghhs' I hear from upstairs??? Ah, yes, that is the silky sound of two boys tidying their rooms (after a fashion) and fighting over territory!!
Righto, tempus fugit (there's another bit of latin for you moggins) catch up later

Hello to everyone.
I was woken up early by the local cats having a chat right underneath our bedroom window! Our neighbour's cat is the noisiest I've ever heard.
We've been to church this morning and now OH is lying on the couch with man-flu and the kids are playing outside on their scooters.
Today will be a slow day I think. The wm has been on, I've got shopping lists to write and the ironing to do. We're going to have bacon butties for lunch and sausage casserole (frozen hm) and rice for tea. To be honest I feel like going back to bed, but not much chance of that!0 -
Afternoon all.
How are we all? Good i hope.
Well it was freezing this morning as ds1 footy match but glad i went one because ds1 scored!!( they won 2-1) And got dd out of house first time in over a wekk bless her.( the spots are all dried up now but im going to keep her off school until wed to make sure, as she keeps catching the scabs and it upsets her)
Havent got a joint in which i didnt realise, so we are having meat and potatoe pie with leeks sweetcorn and yorkshire. Followed by the remains of the oatabix choc and cherry cake i made yesterday it is yummy, will def make this again at last one of my baking experiments works!!!

Afternoon all.
Not a lot going on here today
By the sound of things DD is flooding the kitchen and DH is trying to sort it out. She just love playing at the sink - but it does cause chaos! Flyette in the making? I'll send her to you Moggins.;)
DS has decided he want to go to the pub to celebrate new year. Told him he's a couple of week late - but he's adamant. Oh dear, will have to indulge him. It's a hard life.
Didn't sleep well last night. Woke up with major indigestion. My own fault for having a couple of glasses with wine with DH. Should have stuck to my diet. Then lay awake so long with all sorts going through my mind that I ended up with a panic attack. Good grief. Get a grip girl.
Mr Sainsbury has just been. kids were good and ate lunch (tomato soup and bread, coconut bread for afters. DH and I had chorizo and bean soup out of freezer)
at the moment I'm trying to empty freezer, but every time I take something out (chorizo soup last night) I put something in (meatballs last night) aargh. Wish my bank account worked the same way.:rotfl:
BB - you stand your ground.

Good afternoon everyone,
((HUGS)) to all who need or just want one.
Been busy today, unusual for me, it being Sunday, but i had been so lazy yesterday, i really needed to do something!!!
We are all still in our pjs, but thats fine, we will be having baths and changing later!! Have cleaned upstairs to within an inch of its life, so feeling pleased about that, have made a lovely roast dinner, with plenty of chicken left over for a curry tomorrow, and to put in the stew on Tuesday, the kitchen is clean, and the DW is on. Still need to hoover, but like to do that later in the day.
Right, going to finish my paid2clicks, and then go round with my duster as ive just noticed a big stringy spider in the corner of the room, so need to make sure we dont have a load of webs hiding!!!!
Have a lovely afternoon everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
dlb Have you got the recipe for the oatabix choc and cherry cake please? It sounds lovely and I've got a box of oatabix that no-one seems to want to eat.0

Feeling better now - what a lot of people have the lows today - must be synchronised pmt or something
Have spent the day with headphones on dancing to the ramones and clearing out the stuff that middle dd left behind when she moved out. She had a baby while she was still at school so there were lots of schoolbooks and maternity type stuff mixed in together - she'd used scan photos for bookmarks when she was revising - bless
i,m also going to put some wahing outside - the first time this year - so i,m getitng everyone to strip their beds as I've run out of normal washing!
I've had a little sniff of the wine that dgs knocked over but can't tell if its ok or not - it should be ready for bottling when my dsis and dad are over so they can be the guinea pigs
my alcoshot kit is ready to have something done to it today - now that smells EVIL at the mo - hopefully that's a sign of mega potency
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
