Learned a hard lesson many years ago not to put cash in any envelop/parcels - no comfort, I'm sure; but worth remembering.

Did you read my reply to your post about TWG and the library???

    ((hugs))

    Hi all

Been a sort of lazy - sort of busy day

Got up late (ok, fed boys and took my brekkie back to bed and watched tv/snoozed) Bimbled around for a bit then had a mad 1 1/2 hours where i made the boys play out in the sunshine and I blitzed the downstairs. then went to B&Q to buy a new bit for my shower door - "sorry, we don't do the bits, you'll have to buy a new shower door" Anyone know who sells the little wheeled runner thingies?

Anyway, I digress. Popped into the pet shop to look at the bunnies....... and came out with 3 baby russian dwarf hamsters (although I think they may be chinese dwarf instead) I then had to spend a good hour swapping the gerbils back into their old cage and cleaning the other one out ready for the new residents. They are currently asleep :)

I was going to make 'Porky Potatoes' for tea.... but ran out of time so will do them tomorrow. We've just had spag bol (leftovers from Friday) instead :D

Tonight I shall join in that late sunday tradition of madly ironing 14 ft of washing, esp the school unifroms. :rotfl: Mr TM should be home in about an hour so he can clean the shoes. I may indulge in a small tincture tonight too .... only a small one mind!! (Had a 'whole' HALF glass of wine last night. I don't think I'm in danger of nearing my weekly units just yet :p)

Right - I'm being bombarded with questions about the merits of various Daleks, so I'd best oblige DS2 and play with the Doctor Who cards with him. Have a good evening.

    TM xxx

I was married to one of those once! I got the silent treatment for 3 days if I hadn't done the washing up before I went out to the market. Plus he insisted that kingsize duvet covers had to be ironed to perfection. Thank god I got rid of him 15 years ago and haven't ironed a duvet cover since :D

Lillibet - perhaps she was gutted that she hadn't been invited to the party ;)
Men are very challenging to live with.

Mine isn't fussy about how I do housework, but he isn't very understanding towards me when I feel low, tired or ill. He manages to make things worse by being inconsiderate and it is very difficult to cope with on top of feeling unwell. He also seems to be unco-operative when I try and sort things, I think he has problems with strong women. I notice the difference when he is at work and the weekends.

He turned 55 in Friday but think 5 is nearer the truth

But DH thinks its a big joke - not to happy with him at moment, (sorry to have a rant!) I feel like he's trying to rule everything I do - I get moaned at for coming on the computer (and I only go on MSE!), moaned at for going shopping for too long, moaned at for working all the time (got way behind with paperwork and am trying to catch up - a bit unsuccessfully!) moaned at for eating the wrong things. OMG I could go on. (sorry again guys!) so feel a little low at the mo (a bit of PMT calling)

I have been married for 11 years and with him for 18 - I just I did too much for him at the beginning and once you build up a bit of confidence and try and assert yourself its very difficult.

Anyway, I must go and make breakfast for all (they want porridge) Take care - sorry and thanks for listening. Love BBxx

I don't think you have pure PMT, you have a controlling man and if you have PMT on top, they know:mad:

    ((hugs))

I did thanks Queenie - but I've lost track as to what I've replied to and what has 'frozen' when I've sent the reply now. I checked the library via the online thingy, so perhaps there's a glitch in that. I tried under title, then author then ISBN - and acording to that there are no matches in the entire County - a bit hard to believe!!! I'll try the college library tomorrow, perhaps I'll strike lucky there ;)
Succeeded in getting to Ikea, finally got the hooks for my new rail - but as we got there the exhaust blew.... so it looks like another job for the old credit card. I guess it's a good job I've not gone onto the DMP just yet.
My boys have been darlings today, I've slept most of the day and they even made me a 'cooked breakfast' (which I had lunch time :D) for my Birthday. I know I should be feeling happy, but I just feel sooo lonely.
Feeling particularly pants as my one friend called me and didn't remember that it was my birthday until she started telling me how she'd gone out the night before with her other friend to celebrate her other friends birthday.
To top it all I have a dodgy tummy.
Roll on tomorrow, sorry to whinge, but I really needed to get it off my chest.

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Kazonline!!!

Sorry you've not had the best day! Try to enjoy your evening. What a pig about the money missing from your Mumicon9.gif
Hope your tummy clears up soon.

edited to say, the sites not listing your birthday at the bottom, under the forum lists. Just been into your profile and seen you list your DOB the American way, wonder if that's why it didn't pick it up?

    oooo yes meant to say...

natzini - have to tried taking Agnus Castus or Valerain to help with your moods? I used to be really up and down with mine and these have really helped me. You can get them from most health food shops and the good ones will be able to offer you a advice before taking them. :)

    tink x

Thanks Tink, I'll have a lookout for those but I'm sure that I can't take Valerian because of the meds I'm on for my FMS.... will take a peek in the Health Food shops though
