Hello everyone,
Having had a lovely long lie (after a not brilliant night/early morning) I'm now up to speed and ready to get going - BM to go on, yogurt to make, and will decide next week's meals, and hope to manage not to have to go shopping. It's still dreich outside, and it will also be great if I can live out of storecupboard and freezer for a bit longer. I've enough veg to make soup for the week ahead for lunches out and in.
The great news is I've found a new lodger! She's really nice and will move in second week of February. As I've recently moved to part-time work for health reasons, this is great timing!
Hugs to all who are poorly or just needing them ((( ))), and hope you have a good afternoon and evening where you are.

Morning peeps... happy sunday!!
Have had quite a productive day so far :j have packed up two more boxes of stuff and have created another bin bag full of things to throw out... can't quite believe how much stuff I've horded over the last few years. Have a box of paper work to file and another box thats full of paper and envelopes ready to be turned into note pads.
Have last nights bean stew just heating through on the stove and after lunch hoping to get out and plant my chilled garlic cloves
Need to sit down and do my menu plan for the week, but think that can wait til after dark... want to try and make the most of having a sunny day!!
Hope you all have a good day, hugs to all those who want/need them :grouphug:

natzini - have to tried taking Agnus Castus or Valerain to help with your moods? I used to be really up and down with mine and these have really helped me. You can get them from most health food shops and the good ones will be able to offer you a advice before taking them.

BusyGirl wrote:dlb Have you got the recipe for the oatabix choc and cherry cake please? It sounds lovely and I've got a box of oatabix that no-one seems to want to eat.
Hiya no problem.
2.5 oatabix
8 oz fruit ( i used cherrys, but raisons/sultanas would work too)
6oz sugar ( brown or white)
1/2 pint milk
1 egg
7oz s/r flour
1/2 teaspoon of mixed spices.
2 larges spoons of coco powder
Mix oatabix, fruit, sugar, coco and milk and leave to soak for a few hours( or overnight)
Pre heat oven to about 170, prepare 2lb loaf tin
Add spices and flour and egg and mix.
cook for about a hour.
This was my original weetabix cake, but the oatabix was on offer everywhere and i ended up with 3 boxes and the cake worked just as well with them.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -

Could you cut an A4 piece of (scrap) paper down to size to make sure it will print properly. If it prints ok on a couple of scrap pieces, it should work on the rest of the mail merge.0 -
