Morning All,
I'm too up early as I need to tidy up the house a little before family visit. Not feeling good though, so probably will stay in rather than go to the local restaurant with them all, even the thought of a Sunday Lunch is making me feel queasy .....most unlike me to turn down food
So all in all, I think it's going to be a quiet day.
Have a good day everyone, & chat later.

Morning All:j
Well, my birthday dinner party went well (too much food as usual) until 11.55pm when our stroppy next door neighbour banged on our front door and shouted at me because we were "laughing & talking" when she wanted to go to bed!! (Spud was asleep immediately above us & managed to stay asleep!) Suffice to say that put a dampner on the evening and we were in bed ourselves by 1am which is no bad thing but I am not feeling particually freindly torwards her now:mad::p
The good thing is I did ALL the clearing up before we went to bed so I have got up to a spotless house this morning & as I cleaned everywhere yesterday I can have a day off today:D
Off to church this morning then a quiet afternoon on the sofa watching a DVD during Spud's nap, hubby is going off brid watching & comming home via Ealing to pick up the new fire grate we bought on ebay yesterday afternoon.:D
Lunch : Salad
Dinner Leftover Mexican mince turned into spicy spag bol;)

I too had a lie in today but dont feel too muggy now so I must of needed it.
Neck feels better today so hopefully can get on. Just about to unload the DW and WM then reload wm. Main aim today is get all ironing done which should be achievable. DD is better today and is having an extra riding lesson at 12. Also need to get to Asda at some point to pick up some things for packed lunches.
No idea what is for dinner today, will go and have a look in the freezer, whilst im there will have a good idea what to put on the meal plan for this week.
Its quite bright here too today - amazing how much better you feel.
Have a brill day.0 -
Good morning all,
Have tried to keep up with all your news - but have failed miserably, so sorry guys, hope you are all well.
Did read about you DLB and want to add how wonderful I think you are and how lucky your kids are to have you as their mum x
Hope everyone else is fine (((hugs))) to anyone who wants or need them.
Well, I've had a busy week - not much OS for me apart from my trusty stardrops and washing machine. I haven't baked or done anything in my SC (hangs head in shame) I'll try harder next week I promise.
Happy Birthday to N9eav's mum and to anyone else recently, or soon celebrating theirs!
I've won one of those 'fattitude' dvds - which will be great as I'm way overweight!
But DH thinks its a big joke - not to happy with him at moment, (sorry to have a rant!) I feel like he's trying to rule everything I do - I get moaned at for coming on the computer (and I only go on MSE!), moaned at for going shopping for too long, moaned at for working all the time (got way behind with paperwork and am trying to catch up - a bit unsuccessfully!) moaned at for eating the wrong things. OMG I could go on. (sorry again guys!) so feel a little low at the mo (a bit of PMT calling)
I have been married for 11 years and with him for 18 - I just I did too much for him at the beginning and once you build up a bit of confidence and try and assert yourself its very difficult.
Anyway, I must go and make breakfast for all (they want porridge) Take care - sorry and thanks for listening. Love BBxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
Good morning everyone,
Well, i went to bed early last night, and got up late this morning, but then, i wasnt feeling too good all yesterday evening, so i think i needed the rest. I have loads to do today, as i did nothing yesterday, so lots of tidying and hoovering to do later, as well as roast chicken for lunch. Think i will try and get as much done this morning, so i can relax later - like the idea of culing up on the sofa and watching a dvd!!!!
Right, need to get moving, will have a broese whilst i finish my tea, then do something!!!
Have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
((((BB))))) Hope you find a way to assert yourself that leaves you both feeling more contented.
Essex, pleased you and dd are feeling better
Morning KazGlad you enjoyed a lay in
lillibet - glad you had a lovely meal. Try not to be too hard on your neighbour, even though she shouldn't have shouted at you, try and see it from her point of view; maybe she has been unwell or not sleeping well and she's run down?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(((((((((((((((Bargainbabe)))))))))))))))
I was married to one of those once! I got the silent treatment for 3 days if I hadn't done the washing up before I went out to the market. Plus he insisted that kingsize duvet covers had to be ironed to perfection. Thank god I got rid of him 15 years ago and haven't ironed a duvet cover since
Lillibet - perhaps she was gutted that she hadn't been invited to the partyOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
