I used to be an avid comper in the mid to late eighties & won at least a prize a month from mainly slogan comps which are few & far between now but I stopped comping for many years as I just didn't have the time working 2 jobs from 8am to 11pm & also bringing work home & working through lunch hours, no wonder my body burned itself out. After being forced into early retirement 7 years ago & being completely housebound for 4 years I was told by the pain management clinic to try & find an enjoyable hobby which I could do in my own time & when I felt up to it to try & focus away from the pain so I started comping again a couple of years ago but only discovered MSE last year thanks to a friend in our local comping club who meet once a month. Since then I haven't looked back, it's the best thing I've ever done & I've made lots of comping friends from it as well as averaging a prize a day which I couldn't do without the likes of Lakshmi7, fire**fly, misslinda & all the other regular posters on here. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have MSE, it really is a way of lifePositivity is the key to success0

Yep along with Kipper.
I've been comping since the summer of 2006 and Kipper was the Queen of the Comps back then imho
My son often asks me if Kipper has come back to MSE - does anyone know what happened to her (I think she was ill?) and if she's ok now?
Thanks.....Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
I started off entering surveys in 2007 to try make extra money, then I found freebies which (I honestly do not know how) lead me to comping here in 2008. I absolutely love it, it has genuinely changed my life & the quality of my family's life. I have 5 kids under 5 & I'm super busy but I always squeeze comps in my day
I've had quite a few big wins, these keep me goingxx JoJo xx
:heart2: And only now I see the light...:heart2:

I too often wonder about Kipper. Kipper was MSE, & definitely Queen of the boards.
I've comped for many years & remember being desperate to win a small radio as a child from my comic (the Sparky), but I never. Then I discovered TAB & Chat & was in my element, but the answers always seemed to be the same & eventually I didn't enjoy doing the puzzles any more, plus the stories were quite tragic & depressed me. So you can imagine how I felt when I discovered MSE, I thought all my birthdays & Crimbos had come at once. I still can't believe that I get all this for free Thanks all0 -
