Triker that's disgusting. There are some really selfish people in this world :( where are people rushing to on a Sunday anyway?

  • Triker - words fail me!

DS was very grateful for the attention he got in A&E - he was very well cared for.

Thanks for all your comments - DS has a black eye, 5 stitches and is very shaken about it! Guess he thought he was invincible!

I just need to re-make the bed and the bedroom is back to being clean and welcoming for the first time since probably mid July. Still need to do the kitchen and some ironing but pleased with progress.

Stupid thumb joint keeps popping out so need to stop for a bit. The sprit is willing but the flesh is weak :p.

    :wave:Toots and Dusty

Huge amounts done thanks Toots, and it is great to see him indoors looking so much happier and brighterafter years of stress and travel. He has lost a lot of weight and is much fitter too.

mattress turned, bed made, cat dislodged from the seldom seen chaise longe. That is ou bedroom done at least.

Upstairs bins emptied, jumpers in the WM.

Need to empty and fill the DW, sort the sink area, have a good scrub of the kitchen table, make a big batch of chilli for freezing, cook and freeze the chick peas, tidy the snug and hoover through the ground floor. Weeks ironing for me and the monsters then bags to sort for the morning, put the jumpers to dry then one last load of towels to go in. Then I can slope off for a bath with the last lush bathbomb that I found when I was tidying, and then read my book in my nice clean bed :D

Back to work for a nice rest tomorrow.

Bathroom sparkling, mbr half done went to get something from under sink cupboard and ended up cleaning it out, ds1 bed changed by Mr Doit Later, inside windows cleaned, pan cupboard sorted, smilie face flan made and eaten. It is amazing what having an important meeting looming does for cleaning energy.

Hugs and spoons to those in need and thanks to everyone for the support xx
  • Dog walked, dinner cooked and eaten, landing dewebbed, washing brought in & folded.I have (attempted to) help DD2 with her maths homework, but it is too frustrating  She has been doing lots of photography today - including pouring a bucket of water over her brother!! :rotfl: This is something he happily agreed to! He is a good sport, and it was quite warm out :D
I have also cleared out the pantry, and binned lots of biscuits/crackers that were hidden in the depths and forgotten about :o

DH has had to go back to work. He worked last night, and they normally get a take away in. He didn't fancy pizza, so managed to persuade his boss to get an indian. Some had McDs, and some had pizza. As the evening went on, people started being sick! It turns out that those that had non-veggie pizzas (which would have been DH normally) are all sick, so looks like food poisoning!! The pizzas were from a large chain restaurant on the busy Bas Vegas site (we think) on a Saturday night! It looks like they could have a bit of trouble on their hands :( DH is now needed 'cos there are not enough staff. Luckily he has already eaten!!

Hi, Newbie here who lurked all summer while not working and half got the house in order, but it has slipped back majorly after one week back at work. Will be joining in next week I hope around a commute to London and the new job. So may only be able to do level ones but need structure to keep things in check.

I was saddened by the people's behaviour Triker

LW - let me know if I can offer any advice on places to go in Kent - born and bred here and love it to bits.
£400,000 starting Jan 2020 current end date Aug 2041 I would love the end date to be 2027 but will aim first for 2037.
    1% target £4000 so far £20 paid
