Hi everyone, majorly busy here so apologies for everything I have misssed, hugs for JoJos minion who must be really upset with herself.

Same here! Also Happy 18th to Valli's DS and hugs hugs for CY. And congrats to LW on the bathlift. That's about as much as I caught up with.

Last week has completely passed me by, flying wise. Nothing happened, other than cooking meals, making lunches for DS2 and using the DW.

At least it's now finished and I had my first good lesson obs for ages. :j It's a really crucial time at the moment, as things are likely to move soon in terms of the new, merged school. No jobs are guaranteed, so I need a good reference from the boss if I want to go there.

Friday night was for chilling and yesterday OH and DS2 did a bit of shopping. I saw to DW, recycling/rubbish, laundry, put shopping away and sorted meals. The fridge got a good clear out. DS2 stripped his bed an I made it up again, but still have ours to do. Not all that much, but I don't want to get to Monday morning feeling shattered already.

This morning I've done the budget for next month and made lunch for DS2 and me.

    Left for today:
HW with DS2 (he gets loads at the moment)
    more laundry
    defrost meat and cook tea
go shopping (food, new kettle, clothes, groceries)
get cash for various payments tomorrow

QHC now (swap WM and dryer, put some stuff away, take steak out of freezer), followed by an urgent piece of work. Then it will be time to get ready and face the shops. The weekend is just one day too short. I'd have Friday to chill, Saturday for house stuff, Sunday with the family and Monday for work stuff.

Have a good Sunday, everyone. x

Have decluttered my chest of drawers, and have three piles
    - stuff to go back in
    - stuff I know is going and
    - stuff i need to try on.

Have come downstairs to get some black sacks and then and going to get the 'going stuff' bagged up and shipped out before I change my mind. Then Ill put the 'keep' stuff away, which will give me room to try on the rest...

.... then I will apply the same process to the wardrobe...

MrsC  I agree, I miss my Mondays off very much

Post lunch slump here, so I am going to make myself do a 2pm HHC on my bedroom

Hope everything is alright with Toots, Dusty, poohbear, pollybear and lots of other quiet people, and that it is positive busyness that is keeping you away!

Been to the dump and got rid of the 10 ish bags that won't fit into the bins.

Picked some stuff up from B and M bargains, toiletries and stuff.

On the way home I saw a man lying in the road, another woman in front and myself stopped.....he had a broken leg (I know as it was sticking through where his ankle should be) anyway I flagged down a ambulance, luckily about 5 cars back....but unbelieveably as the crew were dealing with him, and myself and the other woman were trying to secure his car, a woman in a car bibbed her horn at me and started shouting at me to move my car.
I said 'there's a man lying in the road, I can't'...she said, 'I don't care move your car'!
Then the bloke from the car got out and had a go at the ambulance crew saying, 'move your ambulance so we can get passed'! The ambulance man said 'no, I'm dealing with a badly injured man', and he said 'I couldn't care less, move your ambulance, you're obstructing the road'!!!!!

He went eventually and backed his car up the road but I could not believe the rudeness and selfishness of this couple. The ambulance staff took my details as a witness to this couples behaviour.

Triker, the more I hear about people the more I like cats. Glad the ambulance was there though, must have been very stressful for you.

I have filled the WM yet again, moved some clutter out of my BR, and put a first coat of paint on the bits DHs back stops him from reaching in the new bedroom. Off to do some more. When I go to bed tonight (all by myself :D) then I want to do so in a clean and fresh smelling room, not a mess of hundreds of books, dirty clothes and rampaging dust bunnies. Thinking Calvin and Hobbes and the monsters under the bed.... shh, there are no monsters here. who's talking then? :rotfl:

  • How awful Triker - some people

Well, have been MIA doing a family birthday bash - big number, and a fair way away so needed to stay over. We're now back but shattered & DS is suspiciously greenish, warm and wan, so dosed up and told to lay on sofa with a duvet. Fingers crossed he's bouncing again tomorrow...small bouncy boys being clingy and hot is not good.

PLace here is a tip, so HHC at 3 anyone? I need to sort dinner, laundry and find some floors..

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Me too. Except when they socialise with the unruly elements living over the back.

Stoopid has been over the blacksmith's again, judging by the colour of his feet and nose. And presumably met up with some cat mates.

He brought some of the hangers-on back home today.

I haven't seen a cat flea in over 10 years! And it was on my bed when he jumped off!

So Minion is stripping her bed and vacuuming her one rug and mattress, I am doing the same and I have just decluttered £17 on an emergency chemist visit. Why couldn't have been next week when I was going to get some Effipro online?

Triker words fail me! That poor man must've felt bad enough, injured as he was, without t0sspots like that making the situation worse.:( Well, what goes around comes around - one of these days that couple will be in the situation of needing help, and some arrogant wotnot will just want the people helping them to move out of the way. It'll happen, trust me.;)
