Thanks for that all. We had a fab day!
Today OH and I had a chicken from M& S. We bought two meals for £10, should have been £31.99 but cost us just £10 thanks to The Daily Mail rewards club and two M & S vouchers! Had BBQ pork last night (delish) and chicken today and tomorrow and sandwiches, plus 2 pints of stock!! Really good value for money.
Sunshine here in Hastings this afternoon. Cat languishing on the deck getting the last of the rays!
Hope you all had a lovely Sunday.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Re the beef, how about a curry, stroganoff, mince it and do cottage pie, cold slices with bubble & squeek or just portion it up and freeze for another roast ?
£20  was it half a cow ? :rotfl:
nearly 2kgs of beef - there is only the two of us!
Thanks for the ideas
Think i will try a stroganoff one night

Not doing any extra - just takes so much longer to do the same amount of tasks as before.:(
Currently have 2 Lhasa Apso doglets staying - Derek and Clive. They're due to go home this evening, though.
