Another 72p OP today for account rounding There are going to be so many random payments on my account on next years mortgage statement!! Haha!!

Can anyone tell me if their mortgage statement shows the individual payments or does it just show the total for each month?

Another £50 due to go out at the end of next week so its been a good month this month

OH is coming home from Texas tomorrow - hes flying as we speak! I cant wait to see him xx

Today is not a good day!

No OP on account rounding today - simply for the fact that i havent got round to it!

The new kitchen was supposed to be being fitted today. All worktops and units arrived yesterday. Some of the doors are damaged which is a bit annoying but im sure can be sorted easily enough. Apparently though, my joiner didnt feel it necessary to tell me he wasnt going to be bothered to do the work so hasnt shown up! I am not happy!

No reply to any of my calls or texts which is infuriating. I wouldnt mind so much if he had told me he wasnt coming!!!!! Very unlike him too as i have used him for things in the past and he has always been reliable.

Hope everyone elses day is going well though! on the MSE side. I havent left the house so havent spent any money yet!

Im thinking this week is not going well so far

The joiner has not turned up still, and is avoiding all of my calls. I get the impression he doesnt want to do the job! B;oody rude though. He should have called rather than leave me in limbo!

OH's house that he rents out was due to go this month. The new tenants were due to move in next week but have rung the agent to say that they have split up!! Apparently he still wants the house but now wants in fully furnished. This wouldnt have been a problem except they advised they didnt want the furniture 2 weeks ago so we hired a van, cleared it and sold it so now we dont have it! Apparently now he is thinking about whether he wants the house or not!! FGS!!

A new joiner came round last night and quoted almost double what the last one was going to do it for! ouch!! Ive text the original joiner and asked him to contact me to talk about the job if theres an issue with anything we originally agreed. Maybe he will come back?

Oh, and the boiler has started to play up! Why do i get the feeling i should just stay in bed this week?

Morning all

Today is a better day!!

Yesterday was productive - Mum came round and helped me with the housework as im still not supposed to be doing much but its easier said than done! We managed to get the curtains down and washed so i feel much better now! Its very frustrating not being able to do the things i want to do in case i hurt myself again!!!!

I had 3 new joiners come round and give me a quote and i think im going to go with one of them who i liked best and incidentally came back with the same price my old joiner said too!! hooray!!

OP of £2.05 on the mortgage today to round the current account and i have seen the present i want to get OH for his 30th in November so just looking at getting that saved up for

Todays task is to

clean the bathroom floor (v exciting! cant wait!) ,

find some costs for magazine subscriptions for my best friend and her husband (wedding present) as he will be in hospital for the foreseeable future so hopefully it will make things that little bit easier.,

find somewhere that can sell me a nice photo frame (wedding present again) and get costings for it to be engraved

order door handles for the new kitchen as i forgot to do it yesterday! eek!

Ooooohh!!! Ive just done the mortgage over payment calculator and im on track to repay my mortgage 9 years and 10 months early based on my current OP's! 17 years to go!!!!! MF before im 50!!!!

A bit of a big spend day as i have been to the beauty salon for a Contour Body Wrap so have spent my morning wrapped in clay filled bandages in order to lose 7 inches Back next week for round 2!

Well done - you're making great progress :T. As you are at home at present maybe I could sub-contract out all the things my OH asks me to do:
- sort out S&S ISA
- where is petrol cheapest
- where is something on offer etc etc.

I'd give you 1/2 of my commission from him, but I'm afraid 1/2 of 0 is still 0 :rotfl:.

LOL my OH is always giving me something to do!
