I need to stop feeling guilty whenever OH does anything as I spend half my day whinging (to myself!) that he hasn't done much around the house / towards the nursery (doesn't live here yet so don't expect that much really). This weekend I have painted some of the nursery with DS, spent loads of time playing / doing things with him, cleaned the loo, loaded / unloaded the dishwasher numerous times, hung out and got in OHs washing, went to shops, made biscuits and done a few other little tidying/cleaning things, as well as getting up at 7.45 with DS whilst OH stayed in bed. Oh and spending an hour at midnight with DS having some strange dream problem and helping him do a poo at 1am.
This afternoon I was knackered so had a nap, woke up about half an hour ago to OH painting the nursery, and having prepped the shepherds pie and promptly felt guilty! I think I'm going slightly bonkers!Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
I'm sat on the sofa watching Happy Feet, but also watching my tummy being kicked and prodded from the inside! I think mine is the same as yours Gilly, constantly moving now!
I haven't done a huge amount today, but I did quite a bit yesterday so feel like I deserve an easy day! Having said that, we nearly ended up at A&E earlier! Hubby and I went to Toby Carvery for lunch, were sat down eating, all fine. The room was soo hot though, it was unbearable. Hubby sits up saying he doesn't feel too good, I suggest he goes out to get some fresh air. So he gets up slowly to go out. Next thing I know, he's stumbling around the bar area, bumping into people and nearly faints! Luckily he didn't faint, the manager helped me get him outside onto a chair and within a few minutes he was ok again but he came *so* close to fainting and hitting his head on the bar! He's fine now, thank goodness
So anyway, lazy afternoon with cheese on toast followed by half a packet of chocolate digestives washed down with strawberry milkshake planned for supper during x factor!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Glad he's okay 4nnabella....
I'm watching Mrs Doubtfire.
Active babies- I posted a couple of pages ago about Hitchhiker- never seems to sleep! There's near constant movement, and when I do feel a kick it's starting to get a little uncomfortable. Nice and reassuring, but uncomfortable!
DH and DSD have left glasses on the floor beside the sofa- they're annoying, but I can't bend down anymore! Bump gets in the way, or it hurts. They might be there for a while. Wonder if I can train mafogglies a new trick?0 -
What time is X Factor on? I'm gonna have some soup and crusty bread and maybe attempt some of the ironing during X Factor.
Oh that would annoy me Lirin, I'd be trying to pick them up with tongs and all sorts
It's my Gran & Grandpas 50th Wedding Anniversary today, awww, tried to phone them to Congratulate them but my Gran wasn't in and my Grandpa can't hear nowt, so was screaming down the phone to no avail. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
i am really please with my achievement today. carboot done, visited my mum and ate a roast, done all the dishes, done a load of washing and hung out, made jelly, vaccummed downstairs- vacumming really wipes me out. sorted the car boot clothes ready to wash, cleared the table and top of the cupboards in the lounge, and changed the shower curtain for another one.
my mum said she will come over and paint the ceiling in the lounge tomorrow so i had to clear and clean it a bit or it will take her all day to prepare.:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

Evening ladies.
Had a fab shopping day today, bought myself some maternity tops and a new coat from new look, took them to the till where the lady asked if I was a student, I said no, and she said never mind and gave me student discount anyway lol. Saved me £15 so chuffed with that.
Also got a maternity maxi dress to wear at Xmas for a fiver in the sale. It's very long, black and got detail at the bottom of each strap. Was marked up at full price though so was a nice surprise.
Found a new car boot place with OH those morning. Found a stall that had all mothercare, mamas and papas and boots sample stock, all for next to nothing.
Got a humphreys corner suit, little brother shirt and jeans set, tigger romper suit, Elmo romper suit, baby k shirt and tank top set and a mamas and papas shirt and jeans set for a £5. All got tags on too.
Got some girls stuff too for a workmate, will ebay them if she doesn't want them. Got a fab snowsuit from Next, dark pink with light pink stars all over it. Might save it in case we have another one after this lol
Just tried the new Vanilla Frijj milkshake, it's yummy! X0 -
