Love the bump Winnie! Mine is just a huge blob!! Was it your hubby who was all for demanding they induce you but when you went in he kept quiet?! Told my hubby about that and said don't you dare!!!!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Yep that was mine! He's decided he's coming with me to the midwife on Thursday and demanding she gives me a "sweet" :rotfl: he misheard me talking about sweeps...bless him0

Winnie- wow, that's some bump! You look fantastic! Tell your OH to speak up!
I may have realised before, but my hospital has a 14 day overdue policy as well, after that they induce- if I did go over, it would take me to Christmas weekend....
On the other hand, that would neatly sort any issues over when/which set of family we visit at what time. I love them all, and don't mean to sound ungrateful, but DH was planning earlier- pick up DSD on Christmas Eve, go to his parents at 10 on the day, leave her home at 12, down to my parents, back home at 22 for dogs, down to his mums on boxing morning, back to mine boxing night- and was just sitting thinking, oh my god, I've got to organise that instead of DH. It's far to complicated. And I'm asleep just thinking about it!:rotfl:
I've been messing around with a bit of work on the pc, and starting to realise chairs are uncomfortable. Seriously uncomfortable.....0 -
Hope she does. Have heard so many stories recently though about them refusing to do it until 40 weeks? Stupid policies again!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Aw thanksDH is usually fab but he gets terrible white coat syndrome which is probably why he clams up. I'm happy to make my own demands, but a bit of back up from someone else's perspective is always good.

I'm sure they'll have a policy down here about waiting, even if they don't I'm sure my midwife will refuse. She doesn't seem too big on being particularly helpful - when they suspected pre-eclampsia she was more concerned with following her flow chart than how I was feeling!0 -

I guess I'm lucky with mine as she's a friend of the family. When I was moaning about my itching on Facebook one day, she rang me up and ordered me down the surgery for a blood test for obstetric cholestatis. She's been fab even when I keep messaging her to rant! When baby is here I am defo buying her a big box of chocs and a big bunch of flowers!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -
Wow, that is a good bump! Mine seems quite big until I get dressed, then I think I just look fat!
My other half has been here this weekend helping me clean up in my kitchen now the new ceiling is up. We spent 12 hours yesterday sweeping, scrubbing, emptying out cupboards, washing all the contents etc. I have to say, he did more than half of the work, and I still ended up unable to move properly! Woke up this morning, tried to roll over, and had pain from hip all the way to ankle one side. He also bought a takeway with him, which was lovely, but meant firstly heartburn, and secondly if I tried to stretch in the night, I got cramp. It is definitely the salt that sets that off, but it was worth it.0
