i had pasta for mine and am now atempting to catch up on the chocolate eating, i need the tin from either the quality street,celebrations or roses to store confiscated sweeties in, problem is, the tin hasnt been opened yet and there is absoloutley no way i can eat an entire tin of them to myself.

Hope everyone is enjoying the xmas holidays!!! I'm loving not having to go back to work, and look forward to starting to get prepared.

We got quite a few vouchers for xmas from peopel for baby things, woohoo, so yesterday went and got from mothercare:

2 sets of cot bed bedding, so have 4 of everything
bt monitor and pacifier
thermometer
health and grooming set
phillips avent thermal bottle bag
phillips avent breast milk storage cups
rainforest cot mobile
3 cardigans
maternity pads

And online we got the kit for kids pocketed spring cot bed mattress
So think we've got everything now, yay!!!! Just need to start washing everything and pack my bags. I've done my birth plan. Want to buy my snacks and drinks for hospital bag.

For those also suffering with sore swollen fingers (Carpal Tunnel), I know exactly what you're going through. Mine are so painful in the morning, I can't bend them. And the tips of some of them are numb throughout the day. My feet are sore and swollen too. Thank god for my slippers!!!

But all in all i'm starting to feel alot more prepared for the big day

Lovecrafting - hope you feel better soon and bubs perks up. Re the pcos and large bump, I have pcos and havent heard of that before but I now suddenly have a large bump (measured 39cm at 36 wk check) but its currently heading to my knees so think scaffolding required :eek:

Hubby - gave me a single red rose from our garden xmas morning so romance is not dead he does not give me flowers often so pregnancy must be up there with significant events , he made my card and always writes something and he also made a little card for the baby cue more blubbing as if I did not do enough xmas eve

Had a mooch round mothercare bought some baby rattles, reduced breastfeeding vest and more nighties and a storage box for baby stuff like creams, washing bits etc reduced aswell.

I don't actually like the really bright toys for baby but it seems that if its not neon with weird eyes then its not in vogue :eek:

For those who are addicted to pizza (not me as we have no decent takeaway pizza place here :eek:) gonna have to send you to pizza rehab:rotfl::rotfl:after bubs are born!!

Send them my way I could probably eat a whole tin to myself, including the ones I don't like :eek:


On the organised side of things, we still need a changing bag, nursing bras, pants and a nighty for the hospital and I think that is it.

I've been avoiding Primark before Christmas for the nighty and pants because it would have been too busy so hopefully go soon.

Apart from that I'm done, anything I don't have will need to wait. Really need to get on with my washing the baby things, sort of given up half way through

lol i think even the kids are all chocolated out. but i dont mind taking one for the team so i will have a good try wile me and hubby watch fringe later on.

14 weeks tomorrow
My sister is 35 weeks with twins - she has been taken into hosp tonight with high BP and protein in urine as well as a lot of swelling she is staying in over night for observation and tests, something makes me think im going to be an auntie by the end of the week - she has a c section date of jan 17th but cant see them letting her go that far now!

Edit i only said bu*gering it up woops lol

Congrats on all the new babies. Just catching up on posts now. Hope everyone had a great christmas. Had a lovely time.Was spoilt and ate far too much LOL. Went to Windsor yesterday and got a few baby things in the next sale. Off out again soon to see what else we can get.
