Ooh also exciting times or maybe not, but my Bras are no longer tight and I can get them on, on the tightest hook, think that means that baby has moved down a bit?

No posts for nearly two hours - hope that means you are all catching up on your sleep!!

Congrats to Sammy & Phoenix, and hugs to jenjade, hope baby decides to make an appearance soon.

Had the midwife this morning and my bp is slightly high still, not enough to worry too much as there are no other odd symptoms, but got a 39 week check on it. I'm worried that if it increases all my work trying to get referred to the midwife unit will be in vain and I'll end up with the consultants anyway. Good thing I wrote my birth plan in pencil I guess! Been told to rest more, but I think I've cleaned most of the house now so the only thing left is wrapping presents. Bad news is of course the amount of visiting family we've got to do over the next few days but at least they are all fairly local.

Feeling down today about DH not being here even though it is his last day at work until the New Year. I hate being hormonal!!

I was watching the news about he polar bear yesterday in the doctors suregery, it was on subtitles... it said something along the lines of 'there are 3 people needed to give 24/7 cava' (I think they meant care!). I wonder if the other patients thought I was completely insane when I sat there giggling... no wonder the bear looked so happy

Anyway, 34 week appointment went fine yesterday, though just a student which is annoying as I really wanted to discuss home birth with my midwife

I don't think I'll be around much until the new year, so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Got the new washing machine/dryer coming soon. Cant wait to start washing the baby things after christmas:o

Man alive, one of my best friends said she'd send stuff that her little boy has grown out of, there is hundreds of stuff and it's all new born :eek: up to 11lbs apparently so I hope my baby will manage to fit into them. Must be about 20 babygrows, loads of vests, and wee outfits and knitted cardigans, hats etc.

She also sent a gorgeous wee jacket she'd bought me, a cuddle robe and bottle brush. My other friend sent me a gorgeous white coat from Mothercare and wee trousers to match and some lovely babygrows with giraffes on :j

My unborn child has more clothes than me and my OH put together, that is seriously depressing

Also every single pair of ballet pump shoes I own, are far too tight, so I have to wear my converse, vans or uggs, that is my choice for Christmas day with a pretty dress

Nothing going on my end! Shes too cosy and warm! Had two people ask on FB if there was any news!

They say birth is imminent when feeling the need to clean everything.....cleaned the oven, the toaster, the kettle, the grill, the utility room, including all the bird feeders in the garden (why?), the inside of the drawers......hope its not too imminent as I want to make it past New Year at least!
