Any chance they'l notice and like ban my Advantage card? I'm such a worry wart :o but I figure I spend so bloody much in there, that this is natures way of rewarding me :o

Yep got dispatched the 14th, finally arrived today, I've also got a massive box of baby clothes arriving tomorrow from one of my best friends as her little boy has grown out of them, so I'm excited for that :j It's like Christmas has came a few days early for me :rotfl:

My muslins arrive at mr T Tomorrow but it's the Metro in the centre of town and after seeing it tonight (we didn't go out until about half 3) it was crazy, so I'm leaving collecting them until after Christmas, hopefully they'l keep them for me.

Hello honies, I'm home!! Just got back from the hospital. They hooked me up on the monitoring machine for an hour or so. It was kind of cool seeing beanie's heart trace, and i had to press a button every time i felt bean move- she moved ALOT! Unfortunately for me, the trace picked up absolutely NO signs of uterine movement, not even a braxton hicks so doesnt look like anything is very imminent! My BP was higher than usual on all 3 readings, each lower than the one before, but not high enough to worry about today. There was a slight trace of protein in my wee, but not alot, so again no action today. However i'm seeing the consultant tomorrow anyway, and they will check BP and protein again then, and send me back up to day assessment again if needed.

looks like we might both be on the day assesment tomorow for bp then.

theres alot of apointments tomorow maybee its because of it being the last day before they all close.

i have mdau at 9.30 tomorow and will prpbably still be sat there at teatime, but the last of the presents are under the tree, at least i thought it was, i just found the kids shoes that still need wrapping but they could sit in the carrier bag and just be handed to them.

No I don't think they'd notice (and I won't tell anyone! :D). Even if they did, you've spent them now! :D To be honest I can't even figure out how they managed to put double points on there but the phone recycling thing is done by an external agency so I don't know if they use the same system as, for example, our customer care team use (for adding points onto someone's card as a goodwill gesture or something), or a different one.

I think Mr T's keep orders for 14 days before sending them back so after Christmas will be fine for collecting. Ours is only a mile down the road from our house so I just went on the way home.

Well as my OH said "it's their mistake" which I guess it is, but I still knowingly spent points that I knew weren't mine :o oh well. Merry Christmas to us.

Ah that's fine I'll nip in Boxing day and get them or something. Bit peed off but nothing can be done, OH is working late (until 11.30pm) Christmas Eve, 8.30-6.30 Boxing Day, 6.30-3.30 NYE and 8.30-6.30 NYD.

Boxing Day and NYD are double time though so we have to grasp it while we can, but I just don't like the thought of being on my own all of those days :( but oh well.

  • Sounds like you had a great day Gilly! And WTG on the double points, dont blame you at all, their mistake not yours!

Wrapped loads of presents today, got lots of aches and pains today which is annoying as yesterday felt great! 2 weeks today until due date, cant wait to meet my little baby but at the same time I dont want it so close to xmas if possible!

I was over the moon, bit gutted I've spent them all, but would have kicked myself if I'd spent some or none and then went back and they'd been taken off :o so had to be done.

That's all my wrapping done, thank God. Left OH in charge of wrapping his families stuff, I cannot be bothered one little bit so won't be doing it :o

Kira - glad it all went well!

I've had a bit of a rubbish week pain wise - blood from a tear and possibly piles, some of my fingers have gone numb/tingly at the tips.
Been getting this awful pain in my lower left side. Not stabbing, but painful. And tonight that has been accompanied by painful, sharp cramping in my vagina. And realised I've barely felt any movement. We were so close to phoning hospital, close to tears, then I felt a little movement.
Thank goodness I'm seeing midwife tomorrow.

I shall be doing my wrapping tomorrow afternoon. I bought my presents back in October, they've been sat in a box in the spare room since then. One of those things, like so many other things, that I've been meaning to do (plus I haven't even had the excuse of having to buy wrapping paper as I've still got loads left over from last year...) but haven't done yet, so will do them tomorrow after my midwife appointment. Plus OH is out tomorrow afternoon so I can wrap his presents without the danger of him seeing them. Although he may have already peeked in the box, but I don't think he has. My presents have been in the bottom of his wardrobe for the last couple of weeks but I have resisted peeking at them, so I like to think he's been able to resist too!

There was a girl sitting in the seat opposite me at the assessment unit, who came in just after me, as she hadnt felt any movement since 3am. The m/w hooked her up to monitor the baby, which was fine, just hidden at the back so harder to feel. She did give the girl some advise of what to do next time, which is apparently the standard advise these days. Eat something like a few biscuits with sugar in, drink something cold, and lie down on your bed doing nothing else, MUST be on your left side, for 2 hours. You should feel at least 10 movements in those 2 hours. If you don't feel 10, then you should call the hospital.

It's good to know they're so accomodating though, and not making you feel like a hypocondriac :) I think that's really good.
