mines measured with a tape every time i see the midwife. even thou he was heavy at that scan i had in november and measuring a week ahead, bump seems to be meauring correctly. x
Mines just seems to feel with hands, it's weird how things are so different for everyone.
Well my flat still looks like a bomb site, but I've tidied away some stuff
Ordered the 12 pack of muslins from Tesco, available to collect from the 23rd at my local store
If anyone could help me out, how many packs of maternity pads/sanitary towels have you bought? Or how many are you planning on buying, I have 1 pack of maternity towels (10) and 1 pack of slimline maternity towels (12) and the double pack of Always Ultra.
I know I can always go get them after the birth but not sure how far I'll want to venture from the houseso I'd rather be prepared and for all they cost, if they're not needed I can always send them on to someone else under the list from me

What is with this sneezing in pregnancy? I have never sneezed so much as I do these days. I just seem to be sneezing every half an hour or so, and not just once or twice!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Sneezing needs preparation from me now, I have to hold my stomach and boobs or it just hurts too muchThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I'm not too bad with sneezing but i've had a congested nose more or less the whole way through this pregnancy. The closer to the end i've gotten, the stuffier it is, and the harder it is to blow my nose....
Gilly- I have to prepare ALOT for blowing my nose, as i never know what the pressure is going to cause to escape, and from where......:rotfl:Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Sounds fun - I needed preparation in early weeks, as my stomach would hurt so much if I was not in 'correct position'. It seems to be better now, but much more frequent!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Pregnancy dignity is wonderful isn't it. Here was me thinking I'd at least keep some of my dignity until I was in labour. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Going through infertility investigations and IVF taken away any dignity. To the point, that I now prefer the internal scan to the external! (I found it much less painful!!!)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
:rotfl: speaking of sneezing... I was really feeling miserable last night with this cold, and hauled myself off to the bathroom to blow my nose as I'd run out of tissues... whilst there I went for a wee... sneezed mid-wee, which caused extra pressure 'down there' so it made me wee etxra hard, and it REALLY hurt! I honestly thought there'd be blood when I wiped... I can laugh about it now but my god it was a bit of a shock! I do also find myself holding my bump when I sneeze as well, I think I do it more to stop the baby from being jiggled about, although it does make sneezing a bit more comfortable! :rotfl:
eeek have just ordered our cloth nappies! We've decided to go for the Fuzzi Bunz Elite pocket nappy http://www.fuzzibunz.com/OneSizeEliteDiaper/ so I'm really hoping they work out... We've bitten the bullet and ordered a full birth-to-potty set, but I figure if they don't suit Pip once we've tried them, I can always sell on any that haven't been used and try another type...
Hugs to all that need them...
lovecrafting - I hope everything is ok with your little one and she gets to stay in there as long as possible! I hope that as and when she is born everything is ok.
jenjade - I hope things don't drag on too much longer for you!
Gilly - I have a few packs of maternity pads, three I think. I'd rather have too many than too few as getting to the supermarket to get more will involve a one-mile walk (not *that* far I know) which I know I won't fancy doing in late January, with a baby... As you say, any extra can always be passed on...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

Gin I had bruising on the outside that was visable after my 20 week scan at the hospital, when I saw the consultant 2 days after I was wincing and he was quite angry at how angry my skin looked, and asked who had scanned me. She also admitted she didn't know how to work the new scanners and basically told me my babies fluid in the brain was massive and was a high risk of D/S. Went to see the consultant on the Friday and although the fluid was higher than normal, it wasn't anywhere near the measurements she had given. Internal probably is more comfortable.
Thanks AnnabellaI have 2 at the moment so will purchase 1 or 2 more. Text my friend who said while in hospital she wasn't expected to use any of her own anyway, they gave her what was needed so that's good
I really need motivation to get off my bum. I've just sat and had a pint of squash and pack of S&V McCoys and now I don't want to move. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
