hi Ladies
Just been trying to catch up.
We had a scan last fri at 28+4. Baby is fab, they said she was perfect to scan and measures about 3pounds
I was also told t my 12 week consultant appt i would need a phone call at home to discuss anesthesia before the birth due to my increased BMI. Well on Friday they have said my BMi is too low for this so i wont be getting called but will still get another 2 growth scans. Never mind i'm just rolling with it
Consultant definately thinks i have SPD but no physio until 28th Dec. Said if it gets so bad to contact them and they will sort out crutches or even a wheel chair. Will probably jinx myself but it seems to be a bit better the last few days but think that may be because i've admitted i'm not super woman and can't do everything so have slowed down.
Anyhoo lots of hugs and labour vibes to those in needs. Just wanted to check in and let you all know i haven't forgotten about you x0 -
Right, had another call after I managed to fall asleep, this time from the big director! I 'spoke out' yesterday in the meeting about how our department is going with the reviews ()ignoring that they need to be done by the set date and not scheduled), and a few other things (that there is no group, but individuals working for themselves). So today he was calling me to say thank you!!!!! Anyway, went back to sleep after and just got up. So, I slept about 3-3.5 hours, and feel a bit better (headache is still sleeping, but I can feel it will be waking up).
Now, waiting for OH to get home, have dinner and go back to sleep. I lead a very exciting life. If only I could get on with my work as well, it would be perfect!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I have had my first real experience of running to the loo because of that intense sick. Hung around for a couple of mins and it subsided. Really thought that was it ... Weird as I wasn't even hungry or nauseous. It just came out the blue! Feel icky still now. Oh the joys ... !0

mine varies Gilly the older midwifes dont seem to use the measure
hugs lovecrafting- rest up when are they planning on delivering baby? all yours have been early babies havent they?
Take care
they want to discuss the posibility of delivering her at 24 weeks so that will be around 16th january. but 24 weeks is too early for me and unless they give me a verry good reason it wont be happening. at 24 weeks they are so so poorley I am willing to try any medication they want to offer me first and even bed rest if i have to. I will not be agreeing to anything until at least 28-30 weeks. i didnt expect to go past 30 anyway to be honest because the others were all here before 30 weeks. i point blank refuse to have a 24 weeker, the statistics are too low.
christmas eve is now cancelled, usually i do a big meal for about 30 but i have told everyone that this is now a bring a pot day, so i will put some sausage rolls etc in the oven but they can bring something along because i refused to get stressed with the cooking.
christmas day is now scaled down. the 5 of us will be having steak and sausage pie with some veg hubby has solemly promiced to help out to the best of his ability with all of the dinner etc.
the present wrapping is mostly done and under the tree theres just a few bits to do that hubby is going to do tonight.
i have got some chipolatas and some bacon to make up pigs in blankets but thats as chrismassy as its getting, all my baking is done anyway just needs the icing putting on them and thats easy to do.
new year isnt happening now, we are staying home instead of going up to scotland, traveling has been put on the naughty list along with sex cafiene and nicotene. mother in law isnt happy about us cancelling new year, but as hubby explained to her, it isnt just bad for baby its bad for me too and if she dosent like it she can always visit us.0 -

She is 80% that baby is head down both mw's copped a feel but they are sending me to ecv clinic to be scanned on Tuesday (yes next tuesday!) if baby is breech then will need to discuss turning
Also at 34 wks was 33cm now at 36 wks measuring 39 OMG :eek:

sounds sensible love crafting. Asda do some lovely easy christmas foods ready prepared might be worth a look
I have been to see the consultant and feel a bit better about things now although i am confused about some other things!
I have see a nurse, midwife, doctor and consultant! i got my moneys worth also had a scan!
babys head is now 4/5th engaged again but she said not to worry if it bob in and out.
i have keytones and protein in my wee but bloody pressure is fine.
had a scan doesnt look like there is a lot of fluid but she avoided questions about the size and wieght. she said as DD1 was 8lb 1 oz i should expect bigger this time anyway (this is a different father not sure if that makes any difference both his sons wieghted 6lb something!)
she measured babies head checked where the cord was etc and said no reason why baby could be born naturally.
Then she said she could do a sweep today as head was engaged so went for that. not pleasant but not painful. she said she could feel babies head!!!
right now i am confused if anyone can shed any light on this?
baby head is 4/5th engaged but she also said i am 3 cm dilated ??? what does that mean? I am confused by that
since seeing the midwife i have had some horrid blood stuff which could be my plug? and baby has been pressing down so i am really hoping that gets things moving! fingers crossed!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

i have preped everything that can be preped and its either in the fridge or freezer waiting.
being 4/5th engaged and 3cm means in 2cm you are in labour hun. the blood could be your plug so expect to see baby soonish0 -

TMI alert
Browny red gloop discharge now. i am guessing that is a show/ plug?
no contractions or anything though
Hip is killing me as to have the sweep i had to drop my legs to the side which is not good!
so does being 3 cm dilated mean that when it all kicks off it will probably happen quickly? DD1 was a super fast delivery!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
