I think she has about a million school runs a day so explains her absence during the week but thought she'd have been about at weekends.

Even if you're too busy Delain, pop in and let us know you're okay xx

Keeping it short and sweet as I am knackered and so is wife.

Got induced on Thursday.... spent 30 hours getting induced with pessary to 2cm dialtion.
Broke waters and piut on syntopin (or something similar name)... On hormone for 16 hours... on maximum dose... got to 9cm dilated...with epidural but babys head wasnt in good position (which we later found out the reason for)

So consultant comes in say we tried our best and 2 hours later baby delivered by c-section today.. (27/11/11). Baby weighed 10 lbs 8 oz and is doing well with mother. Both are still at hospital as recovering.

And... as a guy this is just my opinion but.. the women who were screaming and screaming at the hospital... were the ones doing 'active births'... epidural rocked for my wife.. no pain at all hardly.

Just wanted to ask your opinion.. when i saw the M/w on Tues, she told me to book back in for 36 weeks and 38 weeks and then would also see me at 40 weeks. My problem/worry is that the m/w clinic is only on Tuesdays, which means each time i will +6 days. So the appointment for 36 weeks is actually 36+6 (i.e near 37), and the 38 week will be closer to 39- and with Xmas and NY, i'm not going to be able to keep the same spacing 2 weeks apart, and have my 40 week appointment in time- by the time i get a 40 week appointment it will be 4 days past my EDD!

Do you think i should change my 38 week (38+6!) appointment from the 20th, to the 13th (37+6), which is only a week after my 36 week, and then it gives more time to arrange extra appointments for sweeps etc at the hospital if nothing is occuring, rather than waiting till post EDD?

Sorry that is a bit of a ramble..hope it kind of makes sense!
