Oh Gilly- I'd love a Red Bull, I only ever drank them occasionally though! I think if I had one, I'd be in real trouble! Already breathless enough, don't need an energy drink adding to it.

Haha, this reminded me, I was 8 weeks pregnant, DH had a can of redbull and I was sooooooooo thirsty, I had a big swig, then he said doesn't that have like ten times the caffeine of a cup of coffee just as I swallowed half the can, I wanted to call NHS Direct but luckily he calmed me down, my Mam keeps reminding me that she smoked through her pregnancy with me, ate what ever she wanted and had no idea until now that most of those things shouldn't have been eaten, then looks at healthy 5 foot 11 me and says "see I didn't stunt your growth and you're fine!"

I had a bottle of Mountain Dew in work- didn't realise it's the only energy drink I've ever seen that carries a specific warning for pregnant women not to touch. My boss was a tad worried when he saw me lying on the ground trying to catch my breath- thought I was having a heart attack! Think I was about 12 weeks.

I do think some of the warnings are a bit OTT these days. Pregnant women should be entrapped in some sort of bubble for 9 months where no harm can be done to them. Or so it seems...

My mum smoked through her whole pregnancy too Amymo (I'm not condoning it, I don't smoke anyway) and although I was 5 weeks early I was a healthy 6 pounds, and have never had any health issues at all. Still think she's a selfish cow for doing it, but sometimes I think the health professionals over egg things.

Oooh could really murder OH. Asked him to check before he went to work, the gas meter as we topped up 3 weeks ago with £20 and it normally lasts about 3 weeks, so check to make sure it won't cut out today. I'd assumed he'd done it, went to have a shower, no hot water  now it's not completely empty as our reserve is a good week's worth but you need the card to stick in the machine to reset the boiler and he's taken it to work  Now I can't even go and get it because I really do need a shower, hair is manky from being caught in the rain yesterday.
