Oh how frustrating! Can you change midwife appointment or ask delivery to come later?

She's usually fully booked so I wouldn't have been able to change it this late but typically she was on bloody holiday! Her stand-in didn't bother turning up until 10am but just got back to say the people opposite have taken in the parcel (and have just bought it over) :) OH will be chuffed - that'll be his job tonight instead of sitting down with me spending time together while we're still two (where's the rolleye smiley gone?) Ah well, I could have a lazy so & so for a hubby instead :rotfl:

Got to go & get petrol - I don't do much mileage anymore just into town & back but the petrol lights been on for several days so think I better fill it.

I have no nesting instinct whatsoever :o

  • Loving today so far! Have got two loads of washing on the line, done a trip to the big Boots (man, I'd forgotten how much I LOVE to drive!), popped into Tesco and now going to dye my hair :D very happy Winnie today, will be paying for it tomorrow mind, but right now - I don't care!!

    I'm hiding.

It's cold, wet, nasty and grey. I want to be at home with a fire lit (an imaginary one, we don't have a working fireplace), and two dogs curled up at my feet, and a big mug of hot chocolate..... The mafogglies hate cold weather and are very willing footwarmers if it means they get house rights..... :)
Hitchhiker hs woken up apparantly furious, and is currently trying to kick their way out of me via my kidneys- cheers for that, kid!

That to me indicates your child doesn't like bad weather either and can sense it in there. Best pack up and move somewhere sunny :p

That's a good idea. I'd never planned to settle in NI anyway!

It's bright sunshine here Lirin!! Said 18 degrees when I just popped out in the car. Glad you are getting about a bit more Winnie - SPD is really painful when trying to drive isn't it? It's ok until you have to lift a leg! Driving 45 mins each way to the hospital yesterday then stopping and starting around the carpark wasn't fun!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!
  • Hi ladies I'm sorry but I que jumped yesterday! Ethan Peter 8.01 oz at 11.09 yesterday morning, he's gorgeous the double of his big brother!
No pain relief labour was 7 1/2 hours long and he's a bit bruised as he came out really quickly. Labour vibes to any one who wants them will read back when I get chance
