  • Lol. I actually laughed out loud in waterstones, got a few funny looks.
  • i was reading about people who feel bad when they havent done as much as they feel they should have, then someone posted this on there wall on facebook i thought it would be nice to share.

Dirty dishes prove i feed my children, full bins prove i change my babies nappies, messy floors prove that i let my kids have fun, piles of clothes prove i keep my children in clean clothes, a messy bathroom proves that i bath my children! So next time you walk into my house and see a mess Think twice before you judge!!! Keep this going if your a parent :p

Hi Kira:) Not sure if I asked before but where in SW London are you? You having LO at Kingston? x

Hi Hon. We are up on the colliers wood side of Wimbledon. No, not at Kingston. MY closest choices were St Helier/St Georges or Mayday all of which get the bottom ratings. Was told i was unlikely to get into Kingston as its so oversubscribed, and refused to go for one of the others, so i opted to go out of area to Frimley Park as it gets the best maternity ratings in SE England. Bit of a trek, but worth it to feel confident in the care standards!

    Where abouts are you?

  • For those of you first-timers planning to breastfeed - are you getting bottles/sterilisers too? If so, which ones and how many?

I'm hoping to BF, but have bought Tommee Tippee bottles and steriliser just in case, plus if I can express then OH can take his turn.

Oooh also, providing I could get seating tickets, concert/gig on the 21st Jan when I'm due the 6th of Feb, is this sensible or totally stupid? :o

I'm going to a gig about 4 weeks before my due date. Fortunately it is seated though. I did have tickets for 2 more concerts which are standing and had to sell them on ebay.

Has anyone used baby slings or carriers? I'm looking at a cool one with a tattoo design, they look funky and I'm thinking would be easier for a bit than lugging a pram everywhere?

I bought a Chico Marsupio from Home Bargains as OH wants a carrier. Personally I don't think we will get much use out of it s didn't want to pay £50. The Chico one was £15 in HB, usually £30.

Well ding that quiz I'm 50/50. That is not good as one of my phobias is having a hermaphrodite baby :( A friend's baby was a hermaphrodite a few years ago and it is a concern which lurks in the back of my mind. In fact I'm more worried about that than the fact we are high risk for Down's!

My leg hair growth appears to have slowed considerable too which is no bad thing considering I'm struggling to reach them. OH had to trim the lady garden last night in preparation for our jollies tomorrow.

Jen I got some more starter packs at Asda. Every Boots local to me is out of stock now. I'm wondering if they are going to stop selling doing them with them being on offer :(

I had heard from a variety of sources that we are to expect a bad winter again this year. OH is massively concerned, as even though we only live 15 minutes from our hospital it will be a nightmare to get to  But, we managed to move house in it last year, so I'm sure we will manage to have a baby in it this year :o

Well I got the ok from my midwife to fly tomorrow, so we are away for some sunshine (hopefully!) See you all in a week :D

Ooh - I'm going to Frimley Park too - again, chosen because of the ratings it has down here.

Well, still here, still pregnant. Now 40+4. Considering a 4.5mile walk this morning. Having very mild period aches but really nothing at all exciting.

I just want my baby now :(

Happy birthday to Gilly and labour vibes to the boldies

    xDx
