Im still here too, have resigned myself to the fact that im having a c-section on friday, have tried everything but i know this little one is happy where she is, and i reckon she will weigh nearly as much as her big sister did so is probably stuck in there!!!

Had a lovely time yesterday having lunch with sis and friend overlooking the harbour in Brixham, and it looks like another sunny day here

Midwife left a message on my phone yesterday saying she wanted to come to the house to give me another sweep today, but i have already had 2 and they arent the most enjoyable thing to have done, am really tempted to decline but then part of me thinks 'what if this is the one that gets labour going', but then do i really want to deliver a 10lb+ baby naturally??!!! Arrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Thanks Missy, What a dilemma :eek: I'd wait if I were you, I wouldn't want to evict a 10-lber either. My OH's family has a history of rather large babies, it scares me.

Nothing new here, except it's a bit irritating I only got up at 0400, and I could sleep again already.....

I seem to have a sweet tooth now? Asda for lunch items for work saw me bringing home um, a 15person reduced extra chocolate cake..... But it's balanced out with the carrots I bought!

I'm bricking it about the snow, just makes me more hopeful this one will come early! We're in deepest, darkest Cornwall and it takes about 4 flakes before the entire county just stops! I'm a northerner living down south though so it doesn't stop me

Kira - I'm glad you got some good-ish news about your mum yesterday, if nothing else at least you can start to plan when you need to be with her etc. When are they off on holiday? Did you say Barbados or did I make that up?

I caught sight of myself in the mirror yesterday....:eek:....I literally look like I've shoved a beach ball up my top...this bump is huge! Makes the rest of me look really slim though lol

In a BRILLIANT mood today Managed to sleep the whole night last night and I'm not in agony this morning! First time for months! Going to make the most of it this morning and get the beds stripped, washing done, nip to Boots and Tesco etc. Got the plasterer coming in this afternoon to sort out the hole that was a fireplace in the living room so bubs needs to stay put for today I'm ridiculously excited about getting my house back, can't wait :j

Aaaaanyway thats enough of my rambling, hope everyone has a lovely, pain-free day and labour vibes to whoever wants/needs them

Up early this morning - couldn't get back to sleep after DH left at 7 and have the midwife at 9.40 so thought I may as well just get up & dressed.

Snow now forecast for next month :eek: A soon as Giblet's born I will have to dash out for snowsuits & more blankets.

I want snow! If it's going to be cold, hibernatey weather, the least it can do is give a proper display! I will always hope for 6ft of snow- it may happen yet!

But it's so cold and horrible outside- all grey and blustery.... Would rather be tucked up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, but I'm cowering in the office with strawberry tea.....

Apparantly the mothercare sale is due to start today though I can't see anything online.

It looks like it's going to be sunny here today, but looks cold - not sure if we've had a first frost last night!

My lovely OH who was out last night has been in the toilet being sick for the past half an hour, is it wrong that this fills me with glee?

I'm going to drag him out today, because I'm evil like that.

well today is all about making sure were ready for friday, plus i need to de clutter this house urgently and aparently (remembering we are getting married on friday) oh has just told me, he needs shoes !!!!!! why tell me now omg.

midwife is getting annoying now, i have been waiting for my scan for nearly five weeks and i phoned them, they havent even had a referal i called the midwife and she hasnt called me back so today i am going to call into the clinic and make her refer me.at this rate i will be getting my 20 week scan at the same time as my dating scan
