It's bright sunshine here Lirin!! Said 18 degrees when I just popped out in the car. Glad you are getting about a bit more Winnie - SPD is really painful when trying to drive isn't it? It's ok until you have to lift a leg! Driving 45 mins each way to the hospital yesterday then stopping and starting around the carpark wasn't fun!

SPD would get me a little driving at times- though I'd just switch to the auto for a day.... I do feel for you and Winnie, you seem to be really suffering!
Bump is sitting higher- I'm not imagining it.... It's pushing in under my bra now, which isn't terribly comfortable! (But still trying to kick out my kidneys? I have a freaky child of too-long porportions..... :rotfl:)

    Congrats, Jacobsmum!

    Congrat's jacobsmum :D

Gosh I'm 4th after the boldies now - that's scary. Midwife booked me in for 5th October - I hope I don't need to go! Have to spend more time on my ball & on all fours as she thinks Giblet's turning back to back

Still haven't been out for petrol. It's not really necessary today I suppose but would make me feel like I've done something! Though washing machine has been on twice, I've emptied dishwasher & done a bit of washing up and currently waiting for tea loaf from Old Style Board to cook :)

Need to unpack my filing I suppose into the filing cabinet, and sort out the airing cupboard, but have no incentive for these boring things! Someone give me a kick up the behind please!

    C xx

*Kicks ankle as unable to reach any higher* :D

The actual ACT of driving isn't too tricky, so long as I don't have to change gear too frequently - its the getting in and out of the car that I struggle with the most. I fall in (literally, ready aim fall lol) and crawl out. The builders next door find it hilarious...:o

I have stolen DH's car though because its got heated seats so its a bit like driving while sitting on a hot water bottle and definitely makes it less painful!
  • congrats jacobsmum, glad all went well. x youdo know you just put me second on the list now though lol

Oh no. I bet I can compete in the funny-clown stakes there. My car's lowered with bucket seats, and as it's a coupe, the doors are longer than standard.
Getting out means grabbing the doorsill and kickplates, and heeeeave! Then the crawl..... Getting in is same as you- kind of fall in, and go 'Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!' at the same time. Saying it loud makes it hurt less for some reason!

Since we swapped our Mondeo for a Picasso it's so easy getting in and out because it's that much higher!
