    Our neighbour's wife is expecting twins. She's really petite- maybe 5ft or very slightly over, and looks huge.... They recently swapped to a Hyuandi van, which has a considerable step up to get in.... I was wincing watching her the other day- I think she's 30 weeks also.
  • Sounds like me, I am only 4"10 and am huge, can't actually get behind the wheel now due to my bump am 34 weeks tomorrow so hopefully not too much longer.

  • Took the plunge and started to paint the nursery today. We're going with yellow and a winnie the pooh border around the top. Annoyingly though the hideous wallpaper which is up at the moment is quite dark stripes so will take 2-3 coats of paint to hide it. COuldn't be bothered to strip the wallpaper though as the walls are horrendous so would need repapering first anyway, so just gotta hope there is enough paint. We got it from Focus when they closed down so one tin has to cover it all!
    Little lady arrived 13/12/11
  • Are you finding these weeks dragging? Feel so slow and uncapable of the simplest jobs. I had a hospital appointment last Monday and th baby was measuring 6 pounds already, she is either gonna be a whopper or they have got the figures v wrong!

    Since we swapped our Mondeo for a Picasso it's so easy getting in and out because it's that much higher!

    Ditto - hubby has a Picasso too. I hope you girls are keeping your knees together when you're getting in & out of the car otherwise you're only doing more damage! It feels weird to do it, but it's a lot more comfortable in the long run!

    I'm in such a moany mood today (sorry!) - plus I'm constantly looking for food! I usually have three meals plus snacks but today I'm just eating & eating & eating & eating!

    Right - a list of things I have to complete by the time I go to bed tonight;
    [STRIKE]Iron the last three of hubby's shirts & put the board & iron away[/STRIKE] Done!
    [STRIKE]Check my hospital list & make a written list of last minute things to grab that I can't pack but will need (purse, mobile, make-up etc)[/STRIKE] Done!
    Finish the bits of reading next to the sofa & put the books away. Started!

    Now, that's not much is it? Surely I can get my !!!! in gear for those few things - can't I? Just put on my Twilight DVD whilst I have some lunch - I can never sit & just watch a DVD - I always get distracted & wonder off so that might help me get a few things done!

    C xx

    A little bit as I am fed up now but have 2 others to look after so they keep me busy! Mine was measuring nearly 5lb at 32 weeks so am looking at another big one. DS2 was 9lb 12oz at 2 weeks late! Have another growth scan next week

  • Mine was also measuring 5lbs at 33 weeks so goodness only knows how big he's going to get if I go to term!

    Sounds like he could be Winnie! My friend just had a baby - she was 3 weeks early and weighed 5lb 5oz so a tiny dot!! I can't wait to see what DS2 weighed at 36 weeks when I go and see the consultant next week. Be good to compare to this one
